Its been 1 year 3 months since i last worked at dad's company. I've been either staying at home, going out to club, attend parties, hitting on random girls. Yeah, thats my life after i quitted high school due to my results. I got zero for all my papers because i usually sleep during exams and i do not study. Today, my dad told me to meet him in his office. I just wore black skinny jeans with a grey hoodie. Then i head out after i wore my shoes. I rode my motorbike to dad's office. When i reached, everyone of the workers there greeted and bowed to me. Ugh, this is getting annoying. I slid my hands into the pockets of my hoodie and go straight to dad's office.

I knocked on his door and he opened it with the help of his remote control.

"so why do you want to meet me? i know i have not been-" i said but got interrupted.

"since, you have not been productive for this past 1 year, i have registered you back to school. Its for your own good kim taehyung. You want to quit schooling? Sure. After you graduate with good results after high school." dad said sternly.

"w-what?! Abeoji. You know i dont do well in my studies." I said, feeling shocked.

"please taehyung, just listen to me for once. You're already grown up, i just want you to complete your last year in high school." dad said.

"fine. but if i needed any help with studies, you are to help me abeoji. No matter what it takes." i said.

"ofcourse son. your uniform will be given to you when you reach home later. Your friend, jimin is in that school too." Dad said.

"so im actually attended sopa again?" I asked while rolling my eyes.

"yes taehyung.you better go now. Tomorrow is your first day of school. You should be aware of what subjects you'll be taking. Youre in class 4-5. The students there are grouped not according to grades. So you will be fine." Dad said.

I just sigh and left his office. I rode my motorbike home.

eunbi pov

"eomma, do you need any help?" I asked while watching her wash the dishes in our small kitchen.

"no sweetie :) just focus on studying okay?" mum said.

"eomma. my brain would be exploding any minute now so i gotta take a break. Have you eaten your medicine?" I asked while checking a weekly pill case.

"yes i already did eunbi. you dont have to worry so much about me dear.." mum said. I just smiled and kissed her cheek.

Its just me and mum here in this small apartment. Dad passed away when i was 16? Now im 18. So its been long and ive been giving tuitions to my friends and other kids to earn money and help my mum. My mum suffers from diabetes and have to take medication everyday. I would skip a day of school each month to send my mum to go for a daily checkup. Everyone in my class already know me well so whenever im not around, they would know that im sending my mum to the hospital for a checkup. My mum is the only family support i have other than my grandmother who lived in busan.

Im the one paying my school fees. Mum just help to pay the house bills. The reason why i work and study hard, is because i want to be a doctor, to save lifes, earn lots of money just to support my mum.

"eunbi, you got your uniform ready?" mum asked.

"ne eomma, ive ironed it already" i said while highlighting some important words to remember in my textbooks.

next day-

I woke up in the morning after snoozing my alarms many times. I dragged my feet to the bathroom to bathe quickly. I wore my uniform and brush my hair. I just let it go today and wore my spectacles. I head out, grab my school bag and my phone. I drank my favourite chocolate milk and head out after kissing my mum goodbye. I plugged in my earpieces and walked to school. I reached school not long later and went to class straight. Then someone hugged me sideways.

"eunbi-yaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa" its yuju, my bestfriend.

"aish yuju-ya, you act as if you havent seen me for a year." I said while walking beside her.

"heh, btw, there will be a new student in our class! I heard he is 2 years older than us" yuju said.

"so he's a guy huh.😏" i asked.

"aish eunbi. Well i think he is a hot guy. Kaja, lets take our seats according to out seating arrange- omo eunbi! Im behind you! You're sitting next to a guy name kim taehyung? Who is that?" Yuju said as we settled down.

I just shrugged my shoulder and just put my head on the table, recharging myself.
