The cube

A/N: YN=male name, H/c=hair color, E/c=eye color

YN P.O.V

I tried to open my eyes, but something was covering them. It's cold, I can't move, I can't speak, I can't hear anything, I can't remember where I am or how I got here, I can't remember much, Just that my name is YN and someones holding me against my will. But I can feel my memories slowly coming back, but I don't know when I'll get the memories that will explain who and where I am.

3rd person P.O.V

"Alright kids, get ready, you're all going on a mission," Guren told Shinoa's squad as he was walking into a cafe they were all at

Yu smiled "Do we get to kill some vamps?"

"No, hopefully not, we'll be transporting some important equipment," he said as he sighed

Kimizuki tilted his head slightly "'We'? Does that mean you're coming with us?" he asked

"Listen, I'll fill you in when you get to the gate, now go. we leave in 30 minutes" he said and walked away

(Timeskip)

Shinoa's squad had arrived at the gate and were surprised to find multiple other squads, enough people for a small army

"Um, Guren. Why are all these squads here, are they here for the mission?" Yu asked

Guren turned to them and sighed "Yes, but they have a different objective. They'll be acting as a decoy and taking a separate path than us. We'll be going around the other way with the real equipment"

"But why? wouldn't it be better to stick together?" Mitsuba asked

"No, we have info that the vamps are going to try and steal it. So while they focus on the main group we'll be going around and be far away from the fight. At least that's what we hope"

"So what are we transporting? You said it was equipment but you never said what type it is" Shinoa said

Guren sighed "What it actually is, I can't tell you. You could call it a weapon, that'd be a close guess" he said

"A weapon huh, sounds like its a pretty big deal for so many soldiers," Kimizuki said

"Anyways, we leave now," Guren said and signaled them to follow. When they got outside the gate they found what looked like a giant black cube covered in strange writing and patterns

"What the hell could be in there? It looks like you could have 16 tanks in there if you stacked them on each other" Kimizuki said

It was being pulled by a truck

"That's what we're transporting, now get in a car and follow us," Guren said and jumped on the top of the giant cube

(Timeskip cause I'm lazy)

Yu's P.O.V

I sighed "I'm so bored, can't we move any faster?"

"No, This thing is fragile and heavy. We can't just go full speed"Guren told me as he was checking to see if the other group was ok, he got no answer and narrowed his eyes

I yawned and looked behind us and my eyes widened "Guren!" I yelled

He looked behind us as well to see Crowley with a smile on his face, "MITO, MAX SPEED" he yelled

"B-but sir" she started

"I SAID NOW" he yelled again and she started driving as fast as they could go. But Crowley started running after us and soon caught up before we could do anything he slashed at the truck and sent it flying forwards

"Whoops, looks like I went too far' Crowley laughed and ran to catch up

I got up and my head hurt, the truck had crashed and the cube was alright and undamaged. My team ran over to help me and see if I was alright

Guren sighed and got up "Yu, Kimizuki, come with me. We don't have much time" he said and started walking up to the cube

We followed him as what seemed like a door appeared on the cube, it had multiple locks and required a code. Guren started taking out keys and unlocking everything.

He opened it up and I looked inside, I was shocked

3rd P.O.V

What they saw shocked Kimizuki and Yu, Guren seemed unfazed. There seemed to be a boy in the middle of the cube. He was blindfolded, he had H/c, he had a gag in his mouth to stop him from speaking. There were chains coming from the walls and had every part of him restrained 

"Guren?! I thought you said that we were transporting a weapon!" Yu yelled

"We are," he said and stepped inside and pulled a lever that caused some of the chains to break and some to hold the boy's arms behind his back and kept his legs tied together

"That's not a weapon, that's a person!" Yu yelled again

"Looks can be deceiving, now grab it and let's go. We don't have much time"

"'It'?" Kimizuki asked, "Do you think he's just some tool or object?!"

"Yes I do, now grab it or we all die. Including it" Guren said and walked out of the cube

They were both angry but went and carried the kid to one of the few cars they had and started to drive off

YN's P.O.V

I can hear people. arguing. I felt someone grab me and put me somewhere else. I could feel the warmth of the sun, and then I could hear an engine, I could feel the bumps in the road. I didn't care who took me, I was just grateful to be outside one last time
