Getting a new 'partner' (Vote closed)

A/N: Ok guys I am so so so sorry for not posting in so long, but school gave me a ton of projects at once so I was sooooo busy with that and all the tests. But since I have no idea what to write for an HDN fanfic, I'm going to go with a high school dxd one cause I had a great idea for that. But enough of this boring little chat, go read this chapter

Kruls P.O.V

My eyes shot open. I felt like I was burning so I jumped out of my bed thinking there was a fire somewhere, but there wasn't. I look back to Yn and see him sleeping peacefully until the expression on his face changed to one of discomfort. 

I reached out to brush some of his hair away from his eyes but as soon as I touched him I pulled back my hand in pain and winced. I looked at it to see it had a serious burn, but I didn't worry about it since it healed quite quickly. What worried me was that it had burned from touching him, his body temperature was extremely high.

I took a water bottle that was on a nightstand nearby and poured a bit on him. As soon as it touched him it evaporated. 'The hell is going on?' I thought to myself and tried to think of a reason why, however, I was snapped out of it when Yn yawned and sat up.

"Morning," he said as he rubbed his eyes. "Mind explaining," I asked as I had my hands on my hips

"Explain what?" he asked with a confused expression. I took the water bottle and dumped some on his head, but this time all it did was get his hair wet "What?!" I asked being both shocked and confused. 

He gave me a blank stare "Um, what are you doing?" he asked as some of the water dripped off his chin

I sighed 'What's going on?' I thought to myself as I put the half-filled water bottle down.

"So just what are you not telling me," I asked a little annoyed

"What do you mean?" he asked as he got up and stretched his arms

"When I poured that water on you earlier it evaporated as soon as it touched you, but now it's not" I touched his forehead "And your temperature is back to normal, just what's going on with you," I asked

He kept a calm expression and sighed as he walked past me "Who knows" he said as he went to the bathroom to get a towel

"You do. I know you do and I want to know what's going on because I'm sure your demon can't raise your body temperature like that" I said as  didn't turn to face him

"Well, maybe he can. You're seriously underestimating Delta, and that isn't wise, also" I felt something get dumped on me and it felt wet. I turned around to see him holding an empty water bottle over my head. "This is payback~" he smirked 

I was angry and he chuckled "Hey, don't get too angry or you'll be the one evaporating the water~" he then retreated to the bathroom 

My arms were shaking in rage "I'M GOING TO RIP YOUR THROAT OUT!" I yelled and he laughed and said "You'd probably do that anyway"

Yn's P.O.V

I closed and locked the door to the bathroom and looked in the mirror. I looked deep into my eyes and it looked as if my E/c eyes were being corrupted and turning a pale white starting from my pupil and moving out. However, it was only in my right one and it wasn't very much

"Well, shit" I mumbled. "It was only a matter of time" I heard Delta say.

"I know, but still, I'd rather not have to do all of that again," I said to him

"You never really gave me much info on what would happen to you when this started. You should probably tell me, I think I deserve to know" he said

"Sorry, but I'll tell you later, you'll find out one way or another, but when you do, try and stop me if you can"
