I'm walking around the airport in search of my dad and/or Natasha but nothing in sight yet, I also can't wait to see my little brothers. I have a ton of bags but my big rolling one seems to be giving me the most trouble. I decide to just sit at this nearby bench where this one girl with very short shorts drops some papers in front of a cute guy, typical. I mean he is pretty attractive, dirty blonde hair, skater boy clothes, and a lip ring. I'm not too big on the lip ring but it kind of works on him. He's obviously checking out the girl in her shorts and he makes no effort to hide it. He says something to her that causes her to giggle and now she's writing on his arm. She walks away and he does one last obvious look, uck. I should call Stefan now. I still can't find where my dad is and the blonde haired boy seems to be gone too.
"Ari" someone yells and I look around to see who it could be and then I see my dad waving for my attention.
"Dad!"
"Hey kiddo" I give my dad a big hug. I haven't seen him in a couple years, but we stay in contact. I'll call Stefan when I get to the school.
"Ready to go?" Natasha asks me and I nod my head. My dad grabs a couple of my bags, one of them the big rolling one and I help Natasha with the boys.
"Hey Georgey, hey Danny" they smile and softly say hi.
"You nervous?" Dad asks
"Big time! I'm not sure what to expect"
"So you're sure you don't want an apartment or to live with us, we have a new place close by. I know we're in New York a lot but since you're here now we got a place near"
"I'm sure, I think I want to try living on the campus, but the apartment can be on hold for now" I half joke.
"So what's the plan when you arrive?"
"There's not much planning today, I just get my stuff in my room all settled and walk around a bit. Tomorrow is when I get my schedule and everything like that"
"Sounds good" Natasha says and when we pull up to the school I already feel little.
"Look at everyone here. I don't fit in already" I say under my breath and the words of my mother come haunting into my mind. You're a worthless, little girl and you won't get anywhere. You are nothing and have nothing... Get out of my head. I won't let her break me.
"Come on sweetie" Natasha leads me to move. As we gather my things I see her looking around a lot.
"You know if you need to talk about anything, even boys, let me know"
"What?"
"Hey how's it going?" A guy asks me and I start to get what she's talking about.
"Thanks but I have Stefan, he's all I need"
"Okay" We make it to my room and one side of the room is already decorated but no one else is in.
"Guess my roommate isn't here" I say. I throw my bags on the floor and fall backwards onto my bed dialing Stefan.
"Hey Ari, I was getting worried. You should of landed already" he says
"I did sorry, I'm actually in my room now. My dad is bringing in the rest of my stuff"
"So how's it look?"
"Big! I want to come back with you though"
"I do too but you were meant to be there. You have an amazing talent that needs to be shared and this school will help"
"Well I can't wait till you come here"
"Me too" he says. Try not to tear up again Ari.
"You're tearing aren't you?" Stefan says. He knows me so well. in fact he knows me so well to say tearing instead of crying. Im not sure why I rather someone say I was tearing.
