Classes are over and I decide to go off to the practice rooms again. Stefan still hasn't called me or texted me back. I tried to reach him a little earlier in between class but no luck. I decide to turn my phone off to stop having the nerve to keep checking. I grab my phone, turn it off and then set it back into my pocket. I have my violin this time to play and it feels much better. Like usual, I get lost into the music. I play a little longer before I decide to leave. Once I finish I pack my violin and leave the room bumping right into a guys chest.

"Oh sorry" When I look up I notice it's Matt.

"Haha, well hey there" he looks down at me.

"Were you just playing?"

"Yeah"

"Wow, school just started and you're already in these rooms"

"Yeah, I love it a lot"

"Well there's a back to school party/bonfire going on, want to come?"

"Um, I'm not really sure"

"Come on, are you scared you'll actually have fun?"

"What? I'm not scared of anything"

"Alright then, let's go"

"I have to put my violin back first"

"Okay"

>>>>>>>>>>

"So this is where the party is" Matt says opening his arms to show it off. It almost looks like a beach but instead of it turning to water, it turns into a wooded area.

"It may sound weird but we call this area The Woods, you can probably see why."

"Yeah I do"

"Here let's go get a drink"

"Alright" I follow behind Matt as we make our way through crowds of people with their red cups and dancing to the very loud music. It's a bit funny that the song that's playing right now is Don't Stop The Music by Rihanna.

"Here" Matt hands me a drink "Careful, they made em strong this year" I sniff the drink before taking a sip and I can tell he laughs at me for doing that. I mean excuse me for being curious. I think because of the way I saw my mother when she had a lot to drink made me not want to drink. I took a sip of it and it wasn't as bad as it tasted so I drank a little more.

"Woah easy there tiger" He laughs at me again. "Looks like you might not be such a light weight after all"

"Guess it runs in the family" I thoughtlessly said that should of been kept inside my head.

"What?"

"Oh, nothing" I pull my hair behind my ear.

"Are you okay?" he steps closer to me and I hear the concern in his voice but at the same time it feels like pity. Pity that I surely don't need.

"Yeah I'm okay" He's still looking at me like he knows everything I'm saying is a lie.

"So tell me about your family"

"My family?"

"Yeah"

"Oh well I have two little brothers, twins named George and Daniel, and my father is remarried to a very cool lady named Natasha"

"What about your mom?"

"Well...." I try to put my hair behind my ear but it was already there.

"What's your favorite color?" He changes the subject.
