Chapter ❶

A/N First story! Enjoy!

Tris POV。。。。

I wake up to Christina shaking me rapidly. "Wake up! We've got to get you ready for the party at Zeke and Uriah's!"

I rub my eyes before saying, "Who's gonna be there?" I say excitedly.

"Hmmmm... Shauna, Zeke, Uriah," I sigh at Uriah's name, I love my boyfriend. "Will, Al, Marlene, Four, and us."

I groan at Four's name. I hate him and he hates me. We've been that way since he threw knives at me in iniation.

"Ok! No more wasting time!" Christina squeals.

She dresses me in layers, I'm assuming for Candor or Dauntless.

I end up in black ripped skinny jeans, a navy blue crop top, and a black leather jacket. Before she got me in all of that, Christina put me in a navy blue bandeau (strapless bra), and boy shorts undies.

She curls my blonde hair into beach waves, pinning parts back. She applies light makeup. When I look in the mirror, I don't see myself. I see a beautiful Dauntless.

Christina gets herself ready and we walk together to Zeke and Uriah's. When we walk in, Uriah plants his eyes on me and I can't help but blush.

I go up to him and kiss him on the cheek. I see Four with jealousy in his eyes out of the corner of my eye.

"What's his deal?" I say to Uriah gesturing towards Four. "He's jealous of you. Your dating the perfect guy." He chuckles.

I giggle. "I know. I love you" I say giving him a quick peck on the lips.

"Alright! Let's get this party started! CANDOR OR DAUNTLESS TIME!" Zeke screams excitedly.

Everyone arranges themselves into a circle. I sit between Uriah and Christina and lean my head onto Uriah's shoulder.

Uriah's so perfect, I think.

Everyone's laughing. "I know." Uriah says.

"Did I say that out loud?" I say blushing.

Everyone nods while laughing.

"My house, me first." Zeke announces.

He searches the circle until his eyes land on Four.

"Four, old buddy, Candor or Dauntless?"

"I'm Dauntless aren't I?" Four says.

Zeke smirks. "Mistake. I dare you to kiss your crush."

Four thinks for a second before taking off his shirt.

"Uriah Candor or Dauntless?" Four says.

"DAUNTLESS!"

"I dare you kiss any girl in the room."

"Eas-"

"Besides Tris." Four smirks.

Uriah looks at me, eyebrows raised.

I nod, as if to say "Go ahead."

Uriah gets up and kisses Marlene. Her eyes light up and she wraps her arm around his neck.

Uriah stays there and continues. My vision blurs with tears and I run out and slam the door. I turn a corner and slump against the wall sobbing.

I hear Christina come walking and turn the corner.

"Tris.."

I look up at her with red eyes. She wraps her arms around me, speaking softly.

"Tris.. Uriah doesn't deserve you. You need to go in there and act like you don't care."

I nod and wipe my eyes. I get up and walk back to Zeke's. I walk inside with a smile on my face.

"Tris.." Uriah starts.

"Don't Uriah. Were done." I state.

Before anyone can say anything, I say,

"Uriah it's your turn."

"Uh ok.. Christina! Candor or Dauntless?"

"Dauntless!"

"I dare you to tell us your worst fear!"

Instantly Christina takes off her jacket.

"Zeke, Candor or Dauntless?"

"Candor"

"PANSYCAKE" Uriah screams.

"Shut up! Tell us your crush." Christina smirks.

"Shauna." He says proudly.

Shauna gets up and kisses his cheek.

"Shauna! You know the question!"

"Dauntless.." She says.

"I dare you to go out with me."

"Yes!!" She squeals.

"Ok! Four.. Candor or Dauntless?"

"Candor" Uriah stays silent.

"Who's your crush?"

He thinks and says,

"Tris"
