Chapter ❸

Uriah POV

I feel drowsy. I look to my left and see Tris, falling asleep, holding my hand.

The door opens, Four stands in the doorway with a beer in hand and bloodshot eyes.

He drops the bottle, creating a loud noise.

Tris opens her eyes slightly and sits up when she sees Four. She lets go of my hand and I sigh.

She looks at me and smiles her cute smile.

She gets up and walks over to Four.

They talk quietly, quiet enough so I can't hear. I see Tris shed a few tears and anger takes over my head.

Four says he's sorry to me and say to get better.

He walks out slamming the door.

Tris POV

Tobias walks in with a beer in hand. He drops it, creating an earsplitting noise, causing Uriah and I to flinch.

I walk away from Uriah and to Tobias.

"Tris.. I'm so sorry. I didn't mean to hurt Uriah. I didn't know he meant that much to you. He just.. provoked me. And I wanted you to be mine.." His voice trails off.

"Tobias.. You shouldn't be jealous of Uriah. I'm yours. Forever and always. Now go. I just want to be with Uriah right now." I say quietly.

"I'm sorry Uriah. Get better soon." Tobias says before slamming the door.

I sit back in the chair next to Uriah, his eyes following me as I walk.

"Everything's going to be ok Uriah. I promise" I say quietly.

He nods and grabs my hand, smiling his goofy smile.

"When can I leave?" Uriah says happily.

"A day or two, but you should take it easy around Four. For my sake." I say.

He nods and smiles once again.

**It's the day Uriah gets out of the hospital**

Uriah excitedly jumps around as Zeke signs him out.

Uriah, Zeke, Christina, Will, Al, Shauna, Marlene, and I walk to the cafeteria. As we walk in Tobias greets Uriah as if nothing happened.

I know Uriah feels me tense up because he squeezes my hand.

"Uriah! Your finally out!" Tobias screeches. "Listen, I'm so sorry. Can you ever forgive me?" He pleads.

Uriah thinks for a split second before screaming "YES!"

We all sit at our normal table and talk for what seems like forever until Zeke says,

"Who's up for another party tonight?!"

"ME!" Everyone screams in unison.

"Ahh! Tris we need to get you ready!" Christina squeals.

She grabs my wrist and pulls me to all these different store.

I end up with black leggings, a red crop top, a leather jacket, and black combat boots that come up to my ankles.

Christina drags me to her apartment to get ready. I put on my new clothes and sit in a chair so Christina can do my hair and makeup.

She applies light makeup with a touch of lip gloss.

My hair is in tight ringlets with parts pulled back.

When Christina and I are finished, we head over to Zeke's, right on time.

When we walk in, all eyes are on us. I sit between Christina and Shauna.

"It's my house! Me first." Zeke announces.

"Tris, my dear, Candor or Dauntless?"

"Dauntless!" I say immediately.

"I dare you to find Eric, pronounce your love to him, and if he kisses you, you kiss back."

He says laughing.

"Then, tell him you hate him."

Everyone breaks out laughing.

I laugh and stand up, Christina and Tobias following close behind.

I walk to the pit and find Eric. I walk up him and say,

"Eric! I love you!"

His eyes light up and he leans in to kiss me. I lean in too and we kiss, until he wraps him arms around me and I wiggle away.

"I change my mind. I hate you!" I scream.

I run off to where Tobias and Christina are rolling on the floor laughing.

Christina gets up and runs back to Zeke's while Tobias and I walk slowly.

"Hi Tris."

"Hi Tobias."

"I'm sorry Tris. Can you forgive me? Please. I can't live without you. Your my everything. My world. I need you.."

I stop and hug Tobias, tears streaming from my eyes.

"I love you Tobias."

He leans in and we kiss.

"I love you too Tris."

This chapter is long.

I'm on Spring Break until next week so I should update alot.
