Trust

I walked downstairs and August was on his knee. "Can you please marry me?"

I turned around. He had to be talking to Tracey. I looked over at Tracey. She walked up to August and rubbed him on his back. "I'm so happy that your asking me to marry you."

"I'm not asking you Tracey. I'm talking to the lady of my dreams."

"And that is?"

"Ariel."

The next day

I took a shower. I was wearing white shorts, white blouse, and black and white jordans. I could barely fit my shorts. I was getting thicker.

I was at school and everyone was talking. I walked to the bathroom.

"Girl. Is you pregnant?" Stephanie asked.

Stephanie was another one of my best friends. "No. But I think I'm about to pass out."

"Girl. You pregnant. But let's get you home."

30 minutes later

We stopped by the store to get a pregnancy test. We took a nap.

I heard someone knock at the door. I got up and opened the door. It was August.

"Your the last person that I want to see."

"I need to ask you something and don't lie to me."

"Ok."

"There's a rumor at school going around and I think Tracey started this rumor. Are you pregnant Ariel?"

I looked at Stephanie and back at August. "I'm not sure. I took a pregnancy test though."

"Well look at it."
