After the game I took Tracey home. Then I went to my house and saw August car. I walked to my door and August got out the car. We walked in and sat on the couch.

"So August, what is there to talk about."

"Why was that guy kissing on you?"

"I don't know, tell me why you was touching on Amy?"

"Look bae I'm sorry. I'll do anything you want me to do, just as long as I'm with you."

"When your over your ex then we can date."

I reached over August to get the remote. But for 5 minutes straight I kept looking into his eyes. When I got over it I notice that August hand was on my chest.

"Sorry August."

"For?"

"I'm just sorry. And boy if you don't move your hand."

"What's gonna happen Ariel?"

August got up and got on top of me.

"What are you doing?"

"Ariel shhh."

August kissed me.

"Are you over your ex?"

"Yes I am over my ex."

I kissed August.

We went upstairs to my bedroom.

"Let's just watch TV."

"No Ariel."

"Fine."

The next day

I woke up and August wasn't there. I walked downstairs and saw a note.

Hey Ariel, I enjoyed last night. I might be back later but I had to go to the gym. See you soon

I tried calling August but I got no answer.

August POV

I was kinda ignoring Ariel. I mean she's good in bed and all. But I don't know, one minute I hate her, and the next minute I love her.

"So how was Ariel?"

"She was great but why are you so noisy Jay?"

"Aye you told me what happened."

Jay was my best friend. I told him everything.

"Do you think she's blowing up your phone?"

"Probably, I left her a note tho."

"If you don't want her I would be glad to take her off your han-

"Wait hold up, I didn't tell you, you can have her."

"You didn't say you wanted her."

"I didn't say I don't want her."

"Make up your mind August."

Me and Jay started to work out.

2 days later

Ariel POV

It was time to go to school. I took a shower. Today I was wearing black skinny jeans, a t shirt with a diamond on it, and my jordans. We had to practice today so I packed some basketball shorts and a white t shirt.

I went to pick up Tracey.

15 minutes later

We was at school. Tracey and I walked to our lockers. I saw August talking to Amy.

"Hey Ariel, I'm here to walk you to class."

"Hey Ryan, and okay I'm ready."

I grabbed Ryan hand and we walked to class.

I went to my seat. August walked to the seat next to me. He rolled his eyes.

Class was boring so I took my phone out and started texting

Me: To bad I ain't see you at school Today.

Dustin: You will see me tomorrow.

Me: Yeah right

I got a text message from someone else.

August: Why you still messing around with that boy?

Me: Why you still messing around with Amy?

August: I wasn't

Me: Yeah right

Class was over.

I walked to the gymnasium and saw August with Amy. I walked to Tracey.

"Man this is crazy, do you see him?"

"Yes Ariel I see him."

I walked out to go to the bathroom. A few minutes later I saw August and Amy whispering in each others ear.

I got my phone and turned on Drunk In Love. I started dancing. Next thing I know all the girls was dancing and all eyes was on us. August walked over and turned down the music.

"Everyone I just wanna say, I know I had so many girlfriends in my life, but its this one that I can't get over. So this ain't no wedding ring, this is a promise ring. So Ariel I promise that I won't break your heart or treat you like I treated my other girlfriends."

August put the ring on my finger. I gave him a kiss, I was so happy.

"And when the time is right I'll give you a wedding ring."
