Always Worth It

*Chapter 2* - Moving In & Meeting

We if finally made it! "Finally!" I groaned.

My family, which had six members in it , my big brother which is 17, my older sister which is 15, my other big brother which is 14, my parents, and me which I'm 12! We moved into a house that has 5 rooms. My sister, Emy, and I have a jack and jill, Cade, the 14 year old, has his own full bath as well as Dakota, the 17 year old. They all look over me, which can be annoying, but sometimes it's very useful! My room is teal and white then one of my walls is like a big chalk board! I love my room!

We start school Was supposed to start today but we got here today and worked ALL DAY! So we're starting on Wednesday.

*NEXT DAY*

"Karlee, Emy, Cade, Dakota breakfast is ready!" My dad yelled from downstairs.

We all rushed downstairs to the kitchen.

After we finished and cleaned up our messes, my dad asked me to go get the mail. When I was headed out to the mailbox I saw our neighbor across the street playing basketball in his driveway! Man, was he cute!

He walked over to me, "Hi!" He said.

"Hello!" I said in a weird voice, and made us both laugh!

He said, "my name is Cameron Dallas! I'm 12!"

"I'm Karlee Davis, and I'm also 12!"

"Cool!" he said. "I have one sibling, you?"

"Three!" I said.

"Oh my!"

"Yeah!" I exclaimed. "Hold on I'm going to run this in real quick!"

*I came back out*

"So, how come y'all didn't go to school today?" he asked.

"Well, we just moved in yesterday at about 5PM. We painted, put our beds together, set up our TV's, and unpacked the whole day until 2AM. So we're getting rest doing and tomorrow my parents are gonna do everything else they can do while we're at school!"

"Oh, I'm sick, that's why I'm not!" he said.

I backed away saying,"back away sick boy!" with a wink.

We laughed, then his mom came out saying he needed to come in and try to get rest.

"I'll see you later, I guess! Bye!" he said.

"Okay, bye!" I waved at him and his mom and walked back to my house.
