Alex stared at the setting sun as she fiddled with the lace hem of her dress.
"If you don't like it, then you can go back to the bloody rags you were wearing before."
"The dress is fine." A hum of agreement from Lithaen. They sat there for a few minutes before Lithaen broke the silence "Where did you come from? Why are you here in Abyrin?"
"Abyrin? I came from the floor of my school library, James was there as it crumbled beneath me."
"Who is James?" Lithaen asked as she turned her head toward Alex, an unreadable face.
"Oh, do I have a lot to say-" Alex's rant was interrupted by Lithaen.
"If you are to rant on how a boy like James is perfect yet isn't I don't want to hear it." The blush on Alex's cheeks started to grow with warmth.
"Never mind, why was he there?"
"All I remember is that: his hand was glowing gold, like a fire and then I was falling into a purple void. Everything is hazy for me." Alex rubbed her temples to rid the oncoming headache.
The moment of silence was peaceful, it was nice watching the setting sun disappearing to a violet slumber.
Lithaen spoke as she stood up from sitting on the ground beside Alex:
"The time will come when you cross paths with this James again, but that won't be tomorrow. So let's get some rest inside."

Alex sat and watched the stars for a little longer before she followed Lithaen back to the house.
