Betty and Veronica, Meant to be

The hospital

Veronica refused to let go of Betty, Veronica's mom was in the back trying to convince the sheriff to let her take Betty to her house. After trying to contact Alice cooper for the 3rd time with no response the sheriff allowed Hermione Lodge to take Betty Cooper back to her house.

"Come you two let's go home." Hermione sighed out seeing a clearly distraught Betty sobbing into her Daughters shoulder. Veronica Gently stood bring Betty with her.

"B, come on we're going to get out of this school, we're going to go back to my condo." Veronica said to Betty. Betty walked along with them. When they got in the car to go back to the Pembroke Betty fell asleep on Veronica.

Veronica's Pov:

I knew she's asleep peacefully in my room but I can't help but to cheek up on her every so often to make sure she's okay.

"Mom, she's going through so much right now, we can't let her go home" I whined to my mom

"I know Mija that's why I'm going to call child services to take care of her and this," My mom said to me. I was seeing red. How could my mom but Betty through another hurdle she needed to be with people who understood her.

"No mom, you will not send her off to another home where her life is just going to get torn apart more, she needs to be with people who know her." I shouted at my mother

"Ronnie relax I was going to have them make this her home." My mom said shaking my shoulders. I smiled and apologized and walked into my room to find Betty no longer in my bed. There was a note on the bed side table.

V,

I'm sorry but I can't do this anymore. I lost my family my dad disappeared and my mom doesn't look at me as her daughter. Now Polly and her babies are dead. I just can't keep living like this. Thank you for everything you have done.I love you Veronica and you make me happiest in this world but I can't anymore.

I looked around my room trying to find where she went, I saw my window open I dashed over to it while calling for my mom. I looked out the window and saw her numb body laying behind the bushes.

"What's all the screaming about Mija?" My mom asked and all I could do was point out the window and start running for the front door and down the stairs calling 911 on my way down.

3rd person:

Veronica dashed behind the bushes lifting Betty in to her arms and cradling her. She heard a moan of pain escape Betty's mouth. Veronica smiled a giant smile and placed a kiss on Betty's lips. Betty's eyes fluttered open.

"V, what happened? Why are we down here?" Betty asked trying to sit up, letting out a yelp of pain.

"You tried to kill yourself B," Veronica said tears rolling down her face like a water fall. She  placed another kiss on Betty's lips. The sirens blared in the background just as Betty lost conscious again. The men rushed over and put Betty on a gurney, Veronica and Hermione hopped in the ambulance along with the 3 men

"He heart rate is dropping how far are we?" one of the men yelled up front, "4 minutes keep her going for that time

"come on Betty you have to be okay for me." Veronica begged squeezing Betty's hand. "Mom I want you to know that when Betty is out of the hospital I'm going to ask her to be my girlfriend and if you don't support us then I will leave the house with Betty." Veronica stated staring into her mothers eyes. "oh Ronnie, I was waiting for you to tell me I could see chemistry between you Alice Coopers daughter." Hermione said laughing hugging her daughter.

3 hours:

"Hermione and Veronica Lodge, you can come and see her now if you want too." a nurse walking out of room 664 veronica ran into the room and took a deep breathe in. Betty had two casts on one around her right leg and the other around her left arm. she had a wrap around her stomach where dried blood spots could be seen. her free leg and arm were covered in bruises. For the third time that day Veronica started to cry. The love of her life was lying there broken and helpless and she couldn't do a thing about it. she walked over to Betty and placed a kiss on her lips. Betty kissed back taking Veronica by surprise. Veronica pulled back smiling.

"Hey gorgeous," Betty croaked out veronica hugged Betty.

"Don't ever do that again Betty, We are your family. You have us now and forever I promise you." Veronica said to Betty. Betty looked down ashamed.

"I'm sorry V" She said as tears stated to fall down her face. veronica wiped them off of her face and smiled.

"Don't worry it's okay." Veronica said smiling. The door swung open to reveal a tall Blonde haired lady with dark blue eyes that were anything but welcoming.

"Alice Cooper what are you doing here?" Hermione demanded the instant she laid eye on the horrible lady.

"I'm here to see my only daughter that almost died." Alice retorted. Veronica looked over to see Betty try to move away from her mom with no success. Veronica frowned that Betty was so scared of her mom.

"You are not wanted here get out right now Alice." Hermione firmly stated. Betty had started to break down now out of fear of her mother. Veronica sprinted over and hugged Betty.

"Get your awful daughter away from mine right now!" Alice yelled in Hermione's face. it hit Veronica right then why Betty's mom even got mad at her in the first place, Betty had told her mom she wanted to date Veronica. Veronica squeezed Betty tighter and gave her kiss on the lips right in front of Alice cooper.

"get away from my daughter you freak!!" Alice yelled, she pulled out a knife and started to walk towards Betty's good arm, she pulled up and rushed down when Veronica put her hand in the way.

"Galahad" Veronica yelled as the blade dug into her skin. security rushed in and pulled Alice cooper out and veronica to the ER
