Betty and Veronica, Meant to be

2 Days later

Veronica's hand was in a brace for the next 2 weeks while Betty was stuck in a wheel chair for the next 4 weeks. Betty was released from the hospital and given a new prescription for her medicine. while Betty was in the hospital Archie, Jughead and Kevin stopped by to make sure her and Veronica were okay. Archie mainly wanted to see if Veronica was okay only saying a few words to Betty.

"Ready to go home?" Veronica asked Betty pushing her wheel chair out of the hospital.

"more then you know" Betty responded smiling "I just hope my mom let's me home." Betty sighed

Veronica turned around to her mom and frowned, "Betty your mom's in jail, you know what happened, my mom's your legal guardian now" Veronica reminded. Betty let out a sigh, she couldn't help but get her hopes up that her mom actually wanted her back.

"I know V, but I just can't help but to hope my family could be normal again," Betty said looking up at Veronica.

"Hey, girls why don't you guys go to pop's and talk through some stuff, I'll meet you at the Pembroke later," Veronica's mom said while waving bye  to them when she turned left and they kept walking straight.

"Your mom has been more of a mom to me lately then my own mother ever has been to me." Betty laughed.

"My mom has this tendency to be so nice to everyone around her," Veronica bragged for her mother. Veronica pushed Betty up the ramp leading into pops and laid eyes on Archie and pulled the wheel chair up to a different booth from Archie and Jughead. Once Pop Tate came over and helped Veronica put Betty in the booth they order their usual milkshakes.

"So Betty how you feeling?" Veronica asked,

"Physically I could be better." Betty laughed "Mentally I feel a lot better," Betty stated letting out a relief sigh. Veronica reached across and took Betty's free hand and smiled. "Betty I don't if everything you said was because you were off your medicine, but Honestly I do love you, not just as a friend but more then that." Veronica said looking down while her cheeks turned a bright color of red.

"Hey, V I love you too." Betty said using her cast to lift her arm up. "You mean more to me then words can be said." Betty said. Betty looked around Pop's and she saw Archie and Jughead start to make their way over. Veronica switched sides of the booth so Betty was sitting next to someone she was comfortable with at the time.

"Hey Veronica, I wanted to tell you something," Archie said longingly looking at Veronica, "Will you go on a date with me?" Archie asked.

"No" Veronica simply stated taking everyone except Betty by surprise who layed her head on Veronica's shoulder.

"N..No?" Archie questioned

"Yeah No i will not go out with you. I'm in love so to busy to go on dates with other people." Veronica laughed at Archie's shocked face

"Who are you with?" the befuddled boy asked

"Betty." Veronica once again stated taking everyone by surprise, She leaned over and placed a passionate kiss on Betty's lips, Betty kissed back. Archie sat there mouth agape what he just saw happen. The girl he liked was dating his best friend.

"Because that's just what I needed," Jughead complained.

"What do you mean Juggie?" Betty asked

"I don't need my heart broken as well." Jughead explained. "I like you Betty and you've known I do so how could you do this to me." Jughead accused

"I didn't know you like me you never told me Juggie, I'm sorry." Betty said innocently 

"Yeah whatever" Jughead breathed out getting up and leaving Pops. The 3 looked at each other in shock.

"so Betty your gay?" Archie asked, Taken aback at the fact that he never knew till now.

"I prefer the word Bi" Betty said laughing. Betty finished up her milkshake and dropped into her wheel chair. They left Pop's and headed to the Pembroke, They headed straight for Veronica's room when they realized her mom had headed over to Fred's for the night leaving a note on the counter.

Veronica's Pov:

I pushed her into my room, I turned her around and sat in her lap facing her. I took a deep breathe and leaned into her shoulder.

"This wheelchair is gonna come in handy for make out sessions" I giggled. I looked up and place a tender kiss on Betty's lips she kissed back with equal passion. I accidentally leaned on my hand that Betty's mom stabbed. I yelped in pain and reeled back hissing in pain.

"Damn it" I growled looking at Betty seeing tears in her eyes. "B what's the matter?" I asked confused why there were tears in her eyes. 

"MY MOM did that to you, MY MOM, because I wouldn't listen to her, It's my fault that happened." Betty explained. I couldn't help but laugh.

"Betty this is your mothers fault for not accepting you." I said hugging her and planting a firm kiss on her lips. We made out for a good 30 minutes when we decided to get ready for bed. Betty laughed when she reminded me she needed helping getting ready and a delighted looking came across my face. Once we were both ready I picked Betty up with little effort considering how much taller then me she was I thought it was going to be a real challenge. I tucked her in and snuggled in on the other side with arms around my new girlfriend. She was nothing like anybody I dated in New York. She was nice unlike Katy.

"I love you" I whispered in Betty's eat not expecting a response. Betty turned around and planted a kiss on my lips and I smiled through the kiss.
