This breed is a small hound dog with a comparation of a large fox hound. Used as scent hounds to catch hares. Their life spans are 12-15 years in human years. They can be even tempered, and gentle, but they can be excitable. They can be good guard dogs and good for children since their gentle. They are good for hunting.
