Chapter 1:New beginnings

Before I start the chapter, I just want to say a few things about mates,mating and
rejection.
Mating:In simple words:Sex.
Marking:When a werewolf bites the neck of his/her mate,he/she injects the blood into others veins,sealing them together.This is the final step in the mating process,and in other words the mark never fades even after death.
Rejection:In simple words, a werewolf should say the words "I reject you".
Few things about mates:
Mates are possessive about each other.
As weird as this sounds,their mates smell calms them down when they are angry or pissed off about something.
Werewolf can recognize their mates in one glance.
An alpha(leader)is even more possessive about his mate.
And guys,I wanted to make a small change,Purab knows bulbul is his mate.Bulbul doesn't know he is a werewolf.

Chapter 1:
Pragya's pov
An annoying sound disturbs my precious sleep.Ugh,I groan and turned off my annoying alarm.
"Pragya,you don't want to be late to the first day of college,do you?my mom said in a soothing voice.
I love my mom,I really do,but times like this makes me want to hate her.
After debating for a few minutes,I finally wake up and head out of my room.
"Good morning di..are you ready for the first day of college?"my sister bulbul said in a cheerful way.
How can she sound so cheerful?It was 5 o'clock for damn sake!
"Shut up"I grumbled.
"Aww,aren't you a little ray of sunshine"she said teasingly.
I ignore her and turn to my mom who was enjoying our bickering.
"Mom,I still don't understand why should I join a new college?I ask her.
"Pragya,I know you're bullied in your old college and you don't have any friends.I guess it's time for a new change in your life"
How can she know?I didn't tell anyone,except bulbul.I look at bulbul and sees her sheepishly smiling.TRAITOR
"Di,trust me,this college is really good.You just have to stay away from Tanu and her bitches"she said.
Tanu?what a weird name..I don't even care.
"Fine!"I replied and went back to my room.
I better hope this college is good.I was constantly bullied in my old college. It's not like I can't defend myself or stand back against them,I just want to be out of trouble.I shake my head to clear all those thoughts and take a deep breath to get ready for the first day of my college.
After getting ready,I head out of my room and sees bulbul waiting for me.
"Di,what took you so long?I mean,seriously!Today is the first day of college"she said in an irritated way.
I rolled my eyes at her behavior.I know bulbul,she was never the one who took her studies seriously.She was good in her studies but definitely was not a nerdy.
Hmm..that means she wants to see someone.I thought with a grin.
"Di stop smiling like that,it's creepy"she said.
I hit her head,HARD.
"Di,you don't want my brain cells to get damaged,do you "she whined.
I was about to retort her,but my mom interrupted us.
"Pragya,bulbul you have to leave now"she said with a scary expression.
We both gulped and said our goodbyes to her.
XYZ college,here I come..

Abhi's pov:
She was standing there,her back facing me.I started walking towards her,eagerly wanting to see her face.I was anxiously waiting for this moment.I can hear my heart beating fast.I touched her shoulder ,and there you go,the shivers ignited my whole body.I knew from that one touch that she was my mate.She was about to turn her back,but a voice was distracting me.I opened my eyes to realize that I was dreaming again about my mate.I was patiently waiting for her since the first time I shifted into a wolf,which was when I was 16 years old.Most of them find their mates at the age of 16 or 17,but I was 20 years.The members of the pack don't say anything about this,but I know they are waiting for their Luna.My chain of thoughts were ended when someone knocked my door.
"Bhai,can I come in"my sister Aliya yelled from the other side of the door.
I stood up on my own and started walking towards the door.I opened the door,and she fell flat on the ground.I assume she was leaning towards the door.
I was giggling,and she was glaring at me.
Her glare was scary I will give her that and everyone were scared of her glare.But I am the alpha of the pack and she knows it doesn't affect me.
"Morning Aliya"I said.
"Morning bhai "she replied in a low voice.
I guess that fall hurt her bad.
"Are you fine,Aliya"
"Yeah bhai,I am good"
"Not to sound rude,but what are you doing at this time outside my door?i ask her unable to figure out what the hell was she doing?
She rolled her eyes and said ,"bhai,today is the first day of college,I wanted to wake you up.But I got a surprise from you"
Oh shitI completely forgot about my college..Thank you Alia.
I laughed at her and asked,"did you wake purab up?"
"He is already munching on his breakfast so that he can see bulbul bhabi "she said with a smile but I can see the hint of sadness in her smile.
Out of us,Purab was the only one who found his mate,bulbul.I met her once,she was very enthusiastic and friendly.I don't know what's going on between them,but I am sure bulbul likes him because of the mate bond.
"Ok aliya I will meet you guys at the college..I think you should leave now.Purab is already shouting."I said with a giggle.
"Alright,bye bhai "she hugged and kissed me on the cheek.
I hope alia finds her mate soon.This is the last thing I have in my mind before I go to shower.

Pragya's pov
Bulbul was continuously smiling and honestly,it was creeping me out.
"Ok,bulbul,spill now"I said with a hint of irritation in my voice.
"Spill?what are you talking about di?"she said twiddling her fingers.I know her,she does that when she is nervous about something.
"Bulbul,you know you can share everything with me"I said in a soft way.
She gulped and turned towards me.
"I guess the cat is out of the bag"she said trying to ease the mood.She took a deep breath and continued,"ok,so there is someone I love di..his name is Purab and is really good.I met him on the first day of college.Since then we became friends.On the first day of college,some boys were trying to get uncomfortable with me,I was really worried as it is the first time of college.That is the first time I saw him",she said with admiration for him.
Wow!I guess she really likes him.
"He is like my best friend but a few days back,I realized I love him.I can't tell him,if he doesn't feel the same about me it will spoil the friendship we have."she ended with tears in her eyes.
I hugged her and smiled at her,"bulbul,I am sure he feels the same about you.Don't worry"
She smiles at me and I smile back.
"Hmm di don't worry there are so many hotties inside the college"she said winking at me.I replied her with a eye roll and she started laughing at me.
I love my sister and I wish this Purab guy better love her.
I look towards my surroundings and see we reached our college.
