It's day three. I've gone back home to Brighton.
I've had a call everyday from the police saying Cai is nowhere to be found. Just my luck. They've searched literally the whole of London to find him and he is nowhere. People have rang me to ask me if I'm ok; I've seen Jess, Maria and Harriet but I haven't been able to engage in conversations properly.
Living in the real world is hard - I miss the TARDIS.I sit down at my computer.
The Day of the Daleks
I type into my computer. I want my job back so I can at least do something to take my mind off everything that's happening.
14th July. The worst day of the year so far.
I noticed something fishy long before the invasion, there were probes everywhere that looked strangely like the Alien race called the Daleks. I didn't think much of it, but it then became apparent that the Daleks invaded through the probes.
I read through the paragraph and backspace all of it. It's awful and boring and stupid. I need to write about something that I'm passionate about, something that will bring out my best writing. At that moment, there's a knock on the door. I rush downstairs and fling it open.
A police officer stands opposite me; with my boyfriend, Cairo Baxter next to her.
I look at him and he looks so rough, I hug him and he attempts to hug me back. He's so limp and cold. I look at the policewoman.
"Thank you thank you thank you!" I shout, hugging her.
"Can I come in?" She smiles.
"Yeah, sure!" I smile, grabbing a cup of coffee for both PC Porter and Cai.
"Where were you then?" I ask Cai.
"Well... I was manning a weapon and you just left, I went to look for you and this old man came up to me and asked me about you, I have no idea who he is so I just walked off. He told me it add really important that he found you and he claimed that he knew you. I knocked for your dad to see you but he said you'd gone home. So I've been travelling back down here to see you, I've had no sleep."
"Aw Cai!" I smile, squeezing his hand.
"Can I talk to you a minute alice?" Asks PC porter.
"Oh sure."
"It's about this old man. The man that spoke to Cai. Do you know him?" She holds up a photo and I gasp.
