I walk into the crowded nightclub, immediately covering my ears. Rave music isn't really my thing! Cai goes to get drinks and me and Jess head over to the rest of our friends.
Zara, Maria and Harriet all stand in a huddle, shouting as they see us. I greet all of them and watch as Harriet's gaze moves over towards Cai; who stands at the bar.
"OMG! Alice! Is that your boy?" She whispers.
"Yeah." I nod.
"He's SO good looking." She answers, spinning back round to talk to Maria about Love Island. Sometimes, I wonder why jess and I are even friends with these three, they are all like Barbies and we have nothing in common, but our town is small so I guess that's just how it is.After hours of talking about absolute nonsense, I leave my friends and find Cai. I feel so drunk, I'm hallucinating.
Cai and I spend the rest of the night dancing and enjoying it together, it makes me realise how much I love him and how much I need him in my life.
A pang of guilt sweeps through me.
The Doctor has really helped me; and I just walked out of his life. But, if youre a time traveling alien, you don't expect young women to travel with you for your whole life if you're going to keep changing!I quickly rush to the loo.
*TARDIS*
No! That's not the Doctor, it can't be. The TARDIS noises echo through the hall. My Doctor always leaves the brakes on.
"Alice." A voice says. It's not the new doctor's voice! It's not the Doctor that has regenerated. I whizz round to see my doctor, the Eleventh Doctor. He's regenerated! He can't be here! He doesn't exist in this form.
I'm so drunk I can feel my mind going crazy, I suddenly faint at the sight of the man in front of me."Alice." Whispers the Doctor, "are you ok?"
I open my eyes and see the TARDIS, and my Eleventh Doctor is sitting next to me.
"How is this possible!" I shout, "and Anyway, I've been grieving for a month, I told you I didn't want to see you again."
"Alice. Alice. This is a past version of me. I don't know who I'm going to regenerate into and I don't know anything that's happened. I've come from the past to see you in the future; to see how you've changed!" He whispers. I shake my head and sit up, how is this even possible!?
"But what do you want, Doc?" I ask, crossing my arms.
"I have a favour to ask. It's big, and it migjt ruin you. Or, it could make your life amazing forever, you need to trust me. Your life may depend on it." He says.
