My eyes started to flutter open and I let out a groan as my head started to pound from pain. I slowly sat up and tried to look around at my surroundings despite my slight blurred vision. I blinked a couple of times and I could see a bit better, however it doesn't help me recognise where I am. The room was quite dark but the sun shone through a small gap in between the red silk curtains on the right side of the room. Around the room was decorated in a crimson wallpaper with golden patterns, on the ceiling was a glass chandelier some of the sunlight reflected of it.

After examining the room I looked down to see that I was currently sleeping in a king sized bed, I was covered by crimson sheets that matched the wallpaper. My eyebrows furrowed slightly and I threw the covers back.

"What the...?"

I was no longer wearing my clothes from before but a pale, white dress with long sleeves. The hem of the dress flowed down and ended just above my knees. The change of clothing didn't concern me, but what did was who changed me into this dress?

After sliding myself out of the bed I had to hold onto the bed for a minute as I almost lost my balance but the feeling came back to my legs almost instantly. I cautiously walked over to the curtain and grasped onto them and threw them open to let more sunlight in.

"Close them! Some of us don't like the sun."

I jumped from the sudden voice and spun round to see him again, cowering in the corner on the opposite side of the room where a small shadow was that barely covered most of his body. I didn't obey and just glared at the vampire.

"What the hell? Were you watching me sleep?" I shouted at Ezio.

"Not exactly." He bluntly said.

"What the hell happened?" I asked.

"I'm not answering any more questions until you close them curtains."

I continued to glare him but then sighed in defeat, I felt the soft fabric of the curtains and closed them slightly so the darkness engulfed the sides of the room but let a bit of light in.

"Alright you have some explaining to do." I turned back to Ezio and crossed my arms.

He emerged from his little spot in the shadows and moved closer to me, but I stepped into the Suns rays so he couldn't touch me again. Ezio stopped just in front of me, still in the shadows and smirked at me.

"You left so soon then I found you unconscious in the woods." He explained." I brought you back so you wouldn't get eaten by the werewolves that inhabit there." {see what I did there? Wink wink}

"Ok well...thank you." I mumbled even though it actually caused me physical pain to thank him." But I have a more important question, why?"

"Why?" He raised an eyebrow.

"Why did you save me? Why didn't you suck me dry?"

"Oh I wanted to as soon as you walked into the castle, but you are not like any other person who has stepped foot inside." Ezio explained.

"Yeah, last time I checked I wasn't an old man or a teenage boy." I said with a bit of sass.

"And this is why I like you, when you first stepped into the village I followed you at night because I knew what you were doing there. You have potential, and have the beauty of all the roses in the garden."

I could feel my cheeks heat up as he complimented me, but I kept my glare on him. Ezio just chuckled.

"So what? Am I your prisoner now?" I asked.
