Dean:

You were walking down a corridor. You weren't sure where you were, or why you were doing this, but you were walking down a corridor. You kept seeing shadows. Figures. Slight movements, but every time you went to look, they weren't there anymore. You turned right when you came to the end of the corridor, and there was Dean, pressed against the wall.

"Dean, what's going o-"

"Shhh! He's here." Dean hushed you. You looked at him in confusion, and suddenly you were aware you were dreaming.

Lucid dreaming.

You yanked Dean around the corner you just came from and looked him in the eyes.

"Dean, I need you to tell me who this person is. For your sake and for mine." You needed to find this out. You needed to get this string of nightmares over with.

"I can't do that." Dean said, his voice much lower than before.

"Why not?" You asked, sort of frustrated.

Suddenly, his face contorted. It was swirling into an image; an image you couldn't quite understand. Suddenly, his face was sinister. It was the face of your fears, and you stuttered backward.

"Because he's a friend. And I don't rat out friends." He smiled at you. This wasn't Dean. In fact, you looked over his shoulder, and there was the real Dean, being held back by somebody.

You regained your thoughts. You remembered that you were dreaming, and that you could control this.

You punched whatever this creature was and threw him against the wall. You ran towards Dean and the hidden figure. You ripped Dean out of his arms and turned on the lights.

There he was, the man you never expected it to be, smiling down at you menacingly.

"Seth?"

You jolted awake, screaming. Dean woke up instantly and turned to you, seeing you screaming your head off. He grabbed you and hugged you, trying to calm you down.

"Hey, hey it's okay. I'm here it's okay." His voice calmed you and you quit screaming. You sobbed into his shirt, praying that the nightmare wasn't true. Praying that these dreams didn't mean anything.

Dean's best friend. Your best friend. It can't mean anything. Seth would never do anything to you or Dean.

Right?

Dean laid you down and pulled the covers up to your shoulders.

"Do you want to talk about it?" Dean asked. You shook your head, too paralyzed to speak. He nodded and kissed you on the forehead. He climbed under the covers and pulled you close to him, grabbing your hand and falling back asleep.

It was just a nightmare. Nothing more. You told yourself.

Nothing more.
