People do different things for different reasons right? I have a theory. Me and my theories, am I right. Well anyway, maybe Zach is just really really...really angry. Maybe he can get some counseling. Maybe he'll get better and we can have a happy normal relationship. Or maybe my theory is shitty. Maybe I should just do what he asks and stop pissing him off.
I feel my phone buzz in my pocket and unlock it to see a message fom my brother.

'Practice is gonna be a little longer today'.I quickly reply to him happy that I have an excuse not to see him until I've had a chance to ice the large bruises forming on my face and shoulder. Thanks alot Zach.
'No problem I'll catch a ride with Ash'

'U sure?''Yea don't worry'. I reply before locking my phone and beginning the walk home.
I actually enjoy walking home. It gives me time to myself. To think. I never really get time between school and Zach and working at the bakery. I love just sitting and thinking to myself. It's too bad the walk home isn't longer. Maybe I should go grocery shopping. We do need more bread.
With that thought I check my bag for my credit card and make a left towards the small supermarket about two blcks from my house. It's kind of damp outside due to the rain this morning but it doesn't really bother me. Well besides the fact that my hair will be an even less manageable bird's nest it doesn't. While I'm lost in thought I don't notice the sound of an engine speeding past until im covered in muddy water from the neck down.
I let out a frustrated growl and continue towards the store. I might as well.
As I approach the parking lot I recognize the car that just sped past parked near the front. I walk towards it to find it empty. Well the driver is lucky. Had he been present he would have recieved a piece of my mind.
I pull up my hood and walk into the store and catch a chill due to the dirty wet clothes I'm wearing. I've never understood why grocery stores have to be 30 degrees below freezing. I mean who wants to shop and have icicles in their armpits.
I grab a shopping cart and walk to the dairy section. I grab milk and cheese since those are two items Cameron and my dad run through. When my dad is actually home of course. I grab more than a few other things, including a box of tampons and head to the register to check out. I go to the one with the pretty blonde cashier to be sure of no awkward looks from a male employee. As she's ringing up my items I realize I forgot the one thing I came for, bread. I blow our a long breath and chalk this day up to karma for me purposely spilling cranberry juice on Cam's ugly gold seat covers. That could be the only reason my day has been total shit."Forget something?" the pretty blonde cashier asks me.
"Uh yea, bread" I chuckle awkwardly.
"No problem" she responds sweetly "You can run back and get it if you want."
"Really, I don't wanna hold up your line." I say sheepishly
"It's totally fine. My shift ended like 10 minutes ago so you're actually my last customer."
"Ok thanks I'll be two seconds I swear" I say quickly.
I grab the bread, which takes longer than expected due to my lack of height and the high grocery store shelves and head back to the line. This time, however I'm greeted by the bored face of a certain dickhead Adonis at the register. I double check the number and realize this is the correct line when I see my items still splayed out on the conveyor belt.
When Chace sees me his bored expression turns into a full on dickfaced smirk. And I want nothing more than to wipe that shit eating smirk off of his perfectly sculpted face. Instead of doing that I place the bread on the belt and he resumes ringing up the items where the blonde girl left off.
