Friday Night Hikes

Tonight, you and Jace had agreed to go on a hike at night. Of course, you wanted to take Henry. Jace decided you were going to do the Hollywood Sign hike because you've never done that hike.

The hike wasn't that difficult so you eventually made your way to your final destination.

"Ok (Y/N) were about to stand infront of the Hollywood sign so close your eyes" Jace said while taking Henry's leash from your hands.

"Do I really have to?" You said. You hate not knowing where you're going or walking.

"Yea"

Jace put his one hand over your eyes to make sure you weren't peaking. He told you where to step so you were ok.

"Take a step with your right foot" Jace told you.

"Ok" You moved your right foot and put it on the ground but you soiled because there was this huge rock.

"I got you babe" Jace reassured you while giggling.

"It's not funny, I could've died"

"You're so over dramatic, but it's cute. Open your eyes"

You opened your eyes and infront of you was the prettiest thing you've ever seen. There were so many lights and it was just amazing. You went to turn around to face Jace and he was just looking at you.

"(Y/N), I'm so happy that I met you. The past year has been amazing and I love you so much. I couldn't imagine being with anyone else. I know it might seem crazy but I want to spend the rest of my life with you."

You were in awe and you felt the same way. The only thing though is you were 16 so you definitely couldn't get married. 'I really hope he's not proposing' you thought. 

Jace took out a small square box and opened it. Inside was a ring with diamonds on it.

"I'm in no way shape or form proposing to you, but I want to give you this promise ring to say that someday you with be my wife. I love you so much" Jace finished. 

You smiled and couldn't say anything. You kissed him and it was the most magical moment.

"I'm assuming you want the ring?" Jace asked.

"Of course I do."

Jace put the ring on your finger.

You spent 20 more minutes at the Hollywood Sign and then decided to make your way back to Jace's house with Henry.
