Different

You were a cast member on the show Henry Danger and you would like to say that you had many friends on set, but that would be lying. You were very reserved and always wore black which made people not talk to you.

One day you were sitting in your dressing room waiting to be called down to film. There was a knock at your door.

"Hey, we're ready to film" Jace Norman said.

"Ok, I'm coming" you replied. You got off your couch and started walking down the hallway to the sets. What surprised you though was that Jace was walking with you. You wondered what made today so different.

"(Y/N), I know this is kinda out there but I want to hang out with you since I feel like you're the only one on set I don't really know." Jace suddenly said.

"You're not scared I'm gonna yell at you or something? That's surprising, but sure I guess."

"If you want we can just go somewhere or back to my place after filming today"

"Ok, sounds good." You and Jace proceeded to the sets and filmed for a solid 6 hours.

You were finally done filming and we're waiting in your dressing room for Jace to come get you so you could leave. Just as you unlocked your phone, Jace peaked in his head.

"Ready to get goin'?" Jace said.

"Yep!" You followed him to his car and he drove to a small coffee shop.

"So I was thinking we could just chill here" Jace said revealing his plan. Jace bought both of you coffee and you found a booth to sit in by the window.

You couldn't help but being a little shy but after 15 mins, you felt like you could talk about anything.

"There's a lot more to you that I didn't know (Y/N), I didn't realize you were a funny, intelligent, and beautiful girl. No one would ever know under those black clothes. It's almost as if you mask yourself which you shouldn't do." Jace confessed. You were taken aback by what Jace just said but you knew deep down what he said was true. You just didn't feel comfortable and confident. It wasn't easy for you to express yourself and it was better for you to be blunt and not emotional. "Why do you wear black anyways? Just curious."

"Um, I don't know really, it's what I'm most comfortable in I guess. It shouldn't matter though no one talks to me anyways so why should I care about what I look like?"

"You should care because I think you're too special and you can't get away with hiding." Wow. What Jace had said really stuck with you. You began to blush and you didn't know how to react.

Three hours passed and Jace took you home. He pulled up in front of your house and parked the car. You looked at him to thank him for everything but all of the sudden, Jace's lips were on yours. Maybe you did like Jace so you let it happen.

Jace pulled away and said, "I-I'm sorry I just really wanted to do that"

"It's ok, I liked it" You replied.

After that night, Jace and you continued to hang out and a relationship formed out of it. Jace was special to you because as time went on, Jace helped you discover who you really were and you became more confident and able to do what you wanted to do. Slowly, you started to become friends with the rest of the cast.

You were so thankful for Jace because he helped you break out of your shell and that was the greatest gift you believed anyone could give you.
