Chapter 3

**Camila's POV**

Dinah, Ally, and I decided to go to Berts Café. It was a nice café with many food options and a nice conversation area. We decided this was going to be our new "go to" place whenever we needed to talk.

"So? How did your first encounter with Lauren go?" Ally asked.
"I mean it was actually pretty good. I didn't die so that's good." I laughed. "She seemed really nice and I really want to get to know her."
"And maybe get some action while "getting to know her"." Ally said with a smirk.
"ALLYSIN. What are you saying? We need more holy water." Dinah screamed. We all laughed. "Mila still be carful. I don't want you getting hurt. But then again I would really like to kick Lauren's ass after what she did in high school."
I smiled and hugged Ally and Dinah close. "I'm so glad I met you guys."
"Me too." They replied.

**next day**

I slowly opened my eyes and stretched my hand as my phone vibrated, signaling to wake up. I turned around in my bed to see Lauren sleeping peacefully. She still looked beautiful without makeup. I got up, brushed my teeth, and quickly put on some clothes. I decided to wear a skirt today with a small red shirt, and threw my hair into a messy side braid and added a bow.

Then I put on some concealer, mascara, and my cherry lip balm. I glanced back at Lauren before leaving and she was still fast asleep. So I walked over and sat at the edge of the bed. I smiled and moved a little baby hair off her face. My phone vibrated and I looked over. It was Dinah, texting me to go to class, so I grabbed my bag filled with books and left the room.

**Lauren's POV**

It was terrible of me to pretend to be asleep. But I couldn't help it. And if I tell her now, she will know that I know she sat next to me and moved hair out of my face. Ugh. Just ugh. Her touch sent tingles down my body and stopped at a particular spot. My heart. Y'all are nasty. Ok maybe it stopped at 2 places. There is something about her. She needs to be mine. But how. That is what I had to figure out. This seems like a job for Normani.

**Camila's POV**

I was on my way to lunch before some idiot bumped into me, causing me to drop my books and my phone. He even ran of without saying sorry. I rolled my eyes and bent over to pick them up. As I was picking them up I felt someone slap my ass and I stood up turning around.
"Hey. Did you miss me?"
"Austin! What the hell?" I yelled.
Before I could say anything more he pushed me against the wall. He slowly wrapped his hand around my waist lifting up my shirt slightly and whispered in my ear "Because I missed you so much."
I slightly pushed him off. "Austin we are over. I broke up with you 4 months ago. Get over it!" I screamed. Everyone was either at Lunch or in a class so no one could help me.
He pushed his body closer to mine and I felt a bulge in the lower area. He leaned in to kiss me but I moved my head to the side.
"What's wrong? I know you still want me." He said, still with a smirk plastered across his face.
"Go away Austin!" I tried to push him off but he grabbed my hair and pulled my head back causing my hair to come out of my braid and my bow to fall to the ground. He kissed me forcefully and when I didn't kiss back he pulled away, still holding my hair.
"Ok fine. Come to my room, C38, at 4:00. If you're not there-" he paused and got closer to my ear, "then you'll pay the price." He let go of my hair and started to walk away before turning back toward me. "And if you tell anyone, you'll know whats coming." Then he walked away towards the cafeteria. I felt a tear coming down on the side of my face. I slide down against the wall and buried my head into my hands. Deep breaths Camila, deep breaths. I told myself.

After about 3 minutes I got up, picked up my books and my phone, and hurried off to the bathroom. There was only 10 minutes of lunch left and I knew Dinah and Ally were gonna be worried. I checked my phone to see tons of messages in our group chat.

Dinah: Camila where are you?

Ally: We are worried.

Ally: are you ok?

Dinah: There is only 10 mins left Mila

Camila: yeah sorry. My teacher held me back for some project thing.

Ally: oh ok. Where are you now?

Camila: I'm in the bathroom. I'm coming now

Dinah: good. I saved you a banana

I looked at myself in the mirror. My mascara was smudged and I looked like a mess. I splashed water under my eyes and wiped it off. I grabbed my mascara, that I keep in my hidden skirt pocket, and quickly applied it. I brushed of my skirt and glanced again at myself. Good enough. I thought and I hurried off to the cafeteria.
