Chapter 4

**Camila's POV**

It was currently 3:45 and I paced back and forth in my room while biting my thumb nail. Lauren texted me that she would be coming late due to some classes.
I didn't know what to do. Should I go? Should I stay? What would he do if I stayed? Should I tell Dinah and Ally? I stopped and sat at the edge of my bed and looked over at the clock; it was now 3:50. I got up and looked at myself in the mirror. I straightened up my clothing and grabbed my purse. Quickly, I slid into my shoes and left the room.

**Lauren's POV**

I had texted Camila that I was going to be late because of my classes but I actually was going to talk to Normani. Normani has been my best friend ever since 6th grade and she has helped me through everything. I don't know where I would be without Normani.
I knocked on the door which had B24 written on it. Mani opened the door and I smiled.
"Lauren finally you're here! Tell me everything." She said and pulled me into her room.
"Well first of all she is-" I stopped talking when I saw Lucy applying makeup in the corner of the room. She turned around and gave me a small smile.
"Hey Lauren. Long time no see." She mumbled.
"Yeah." I replied not wanting to make conversation with her.
"Anyway I gotta go. I'll see you later Mani. Bye Lauren." She waved and left the room. I turned around and looked at mani with my eyes wide open.
"YOU DIDN'T TELL ME SHE WAS YOUR ROOMMATE?!" I screamed.
"I know Lauren I'm sorry. I just didn't want to create more drama. I was kind of hoping you guys would be friends. You know, how it was before. It was Lucy, Lauren, and Normani! The three musketeers! Just because you guys dated then broke up doesn't mean you can't be friends. Please! For me?" Mani expressed.
"Ok fine. I'll try." I said softly.
"Yay!!" Mani said as she jumped and hugged me. "Ok now tell me all about this girl."

"Well she is incredibly beautiful. Every time she looks at me I get all tingly. She's really special Mani."
"If you like her that much then I will definitely help you." Mani replied
"Well there is one thing though. She is friends with Dinah. You know, that girl who you had a huge crush on until you found out she was straight because-" Normani put her hand onto my mouth to stop me from saying anything else.
"Yes we get it. We are still acquaintances. Move on."
"I feel like Dinah told her about what I did back in high school. I want Camila to see me as the real Lauren not the old me. Help me please?" I asked Mani and grabbed her hand.
"Of course. Dinah invited me to a party going on at her parents house this Friday. Perfect time to make your move."
"Ok fine I'll go."
"Great. But first, we need to get you something other then black."

**Camila's POV**

"I still don't get why you did that! Ally literally got so drunk that she woke up in a bathtub with a bottle in her hand!" Dinah said laughing.
"That's why I'll never go to another one of Dinah's party's ever again." Ally exclaimed.
"You say that now but just wait till Friday!! Only 2 more days!" Dinah yelled.
I laughed and took a sip of my coffee. I opened my phone to check the time. 4:24. I sighed and put my phone back into my purse. I decided not to go. I can protect myself if Austin does anything. But yet I still decided not to tell Dinah and Ally. It would make things worse and I don't want to create drama.
"Hey guys! Let's take a pic." I said.
"Yeah it gotta be hot. Hey Chase!" Dinah called out to our server. "Take a photo of us!" Dinah demanded.
"Dang okay Dinah." He wicked and Dinah smiled. I glanced over at Ally and she had the same smirk that I had plastered over our faces.
