Description: Starscream, and a small squadron of seekers, went to scout out an energon signal. And you so happened to be one of those seekers!

Previously on Star-Shriek . . .

The only reason you could think of for the silver seeker bringing you along instead of someone else, was because he wanted to keep an optic on you. You were known to be a troublemaker on the Nemesis, though you weren't as into causing mischief as your close pals. They caused the problems, you took the blame. That was the cycle. Hopefully, you didn't screw up and do something that would make him hate you more. Not that he didn't despise everyone else enough already!

"Come along femme, we have a scouting mission to take care of."

"There seems to be less energon here than in the main cavern . . ." Starscream observed the scattered crystals that stuck out of the tunnel's walls. "Check in with the others Y/D." You nodded, though he couldn't see it, and opened up your comm link.

"What's your status boys?" You asked, turning away from the higher-up. Laughter over the lines made you feel left out.

"There's not so much energon here, not like in that big cave or whatever!" Ron announced, laughing at something Charlie had said into his audio receptor. You frowned. You were used to being left out, but that only made you feel a little more down. Starscream noticed your slightly-slouched posture and walked quietly toward you.

"Soldier!" The head seeker yelled directly into your audio receptor. You jumped a couple pedes into the air and turned around to face him. "What is the hold up?"

"N-nothing sir. They've found as little energon in their tunnel as we have." You reported, your body stiff.

"Aaaaaaaw, did somebody get into trouble with Screamy?" Tommy teased through the comm. Even if the drone couldn't see it, you still rolled your optics under your visor. The other two seeker troopers snickered at the comment. They knew you like the back of their servo, and the events that would follow your statement. Starscream scoffed, snatched the  portable scanner from your servos, and walked back the way you came from.

"He shrieks at your actions like an annoying Earth bird." Charlie said as he tried to hold off a laugh. Key word: tried. You rolled your optics again, wondering why your only good pals were the ones with the personalities of sparklings. Though sparklings were actually cute; The drones were definitely not.

"I've noticed Charles, I really have." You grumbled, grumpily following the SIC. Your servos felt empty without the scanner you'd been carrying for so long. The loss of the small weight annoyed you a bit, but it wasn't anything you'd want to vocalize. A small complaint might as well cost you your delicate spark.

"What if you flirted with him? Y'know, for a social experiment." Charlie whole-sparkly suggested. You could hear the full-on mischievousness in his voice. You almost wished Megatron had crushed his voice-box like the Autobot scout on Team Prime.

"Ew! No, absolutely not. Why would you ever suggest such a thing?" You questioned his sanity over the link as you walked, your pedesteps in synchronization with your commander's.

"Relax, I question my friendships with all of you too." Ron interrupted. "Though can you do something for us?" You silently scoffed at this. You were trying to be careful not to attract your company's attention.

"I do a lot of things for you, can you be more specific?" You said. Tommy snickered once again, and a bad feeling began to set itself inside of you.

"Just distract him for us, okay?" The son of a blaster told you before signing off. You frowned the frowniest of frowns. At least the visors didn't show any of your emotions to the others, or else they'd be sincerely worried.  You shook off whatever terrible feelings you had and convinced yourself that you would have no part in this. Even if the SIC would beg to differ.

"Y/D." Starscream stopped suddenly, and you almost bumped into him.

"Yes, Commander Starscream?" You acknowledged the skinny mech.

"What were those other stupid drones talking to you about?" He interrogated, clasping his servos behind his back.

"Not sure sir." You answered honestly. Partially honest. The head seeker rolled his optics, unamused with your reply. He knew you were up to something, but what it was, he didn't know yet. Where was Soundwave when you needed him?

"Star—!" You were going to warn him, but you . . . you were uh, a little too late. A bunch of smaller rocks and pebbles were dumped onto the mech in front of you like somebody tried to dunk him with water. The rocks piled at his pedes, leaving only a Screamer that was angered beyond belief. Or more like Shrieker if you really want to get on a name-calling level!

"You are in so. Much. Trouble!" Starscream yelled, shaking with rage. He turned towards you, frozen with fear, in a state of shock. He was going to kill you. You were going to die. You couldn't let that happen! So you did the only thing that would keep you alive in the current situation:

   You ran.
