My Best Friend is the School's Bad Boy

Princess

Jensen's POV

This whole town seems smaller than I remember it being.

"Now, I really need you to focus on your grades and try, please try, not to get into any more trouble." My mother's tired eyes bore into mine and I felt my hard front break a little as I gave her a sad smile and a fierce hug.

"I'll try, Mom." My whisper hit her shoulder, causing her to nod and step back with a watery smile on her pale lips.

"Now, go on. Your bike is outside in the first row and you have your helmet right?" I chuckled as worry washed over her hazel eyes and she frantically looked at my empty hands.

I walked over to the office seats and picked up my backpack, unzipping it slightly and showing off my shiny helmet with a smirk on my face.

Her eyes went from worried to scolding as she grabbed my bag from me.

"And where are all of your school supplies?" Her voice, sharp as she held out my backpack with one hand and held her hip with the other. Her shoulder length, black hair slid, slightly, off her shoulder as her head tilted in that typical "scolding mom" way.

I just shrugged and grabbed my bag from her, slinging it over my back before giving her a quick kiss on the cheek and leaving the office.

My slight smile erased off my face as soon as I left my mother's side and was replaced with my usual, bored look.

Wanting to delay having to go to class, I looked for my first period class, which I had missed, and sighed when I quickly found it.

This school is small as shit.

Trying to keep my promise to my mother, I walked down the hall a few feet and opened the door to my second period classroom door.

Everyone seemed to stop breathing and I rolled my eyes as I leaned against the doorway.

Taking in all of the giddy girls and insecure little boys, I found myself focusing on the one girl in this classroom that was looking at me with curiosity instead of lust.

Her eyes were a muted forest green and she wore glasses that covered up practically half her face. Her soft-looking, slightly wavy brown hair fell gracefully off her shoulders and-

Gracefully? Get a hold of yourself man.

Straightening up, I gave the teacher my last name and then went to the back of the room to find a seat.

I was getting pissed at all of the eyes on me but remembering my promise to my distraught mother, I took a deep breath before dropping my backpack onto an empty desk.

The loud clunk of my bag hitting the desk made the girl next to me jump and elicited a small chuckle out of me.

As I took my seat, the girl huffed and turned her body away from me, her arms were crossed against her chest like a spoiled little princess.

I chuckled again at that and decided I, for some unknown reason, liked this girl.

"Hey, Princess. What's your name?" I smirked as she gave me a side glance before giving me a disgusted look and straightening up.

Awe. The wittle pwincess is angwy.

I could see that she was getting agitated from the bouncing of her left leg and the tapping of her pencil against the desktop. Her free hand went up to her neck and clutched onto a necklace that had been hiding underneath her shirt.

"I guess I'll just take a stab at it. Jane, Jenna, Macy, Rose, Taya-" Her hair whipped around as she turned to glare at me before grabbing her test from Mr. Teacher Guy.

My eyes squinted a little at the dude as he slapped a thick booklet onto my tabletop before walking away.

I quickly flipped through it and sighed as I saw all of the questions I had to complete. Remembering that I didn't bring any school supplies, I decided to bug the princess once more.

"Hey. Pssst. Hey, you. Angry princess. You got a pencil?" My voice was just below normal volume and in the intense silence that filled the environment, I knew everyone in the class could, without a doubt, hear me. I just didn't give a shit.

"Mr. Walker, I suggest you leave Miss Rosena alone, unless you would like to visit the dean's office on your first day here." The girl looked up with this puppy dog look that practically said "You're my hero" and I had to roll my eyes at her teacher's pet act.

"Will that get me out of taking this fake ass test?" I threw a smirk the teacher's way but he must have been one of those no-nonsense teachers because he blew up immediately.

"To the dean, immediately!" The dude slammed his hands down on his desk and pointed towards the door.

This guy's got issues...This is gonna be a fun year.

I grabbed my things and walked slowly to the door, in no hurry to leave and turned towards the girl in the back of the classroom, tossing her a wink.

"See you around, Princess." I heaved a genuine chuckle as the teacher guy got up, pushed me out the room and slammed the door in my face.

This year is definitely going to be interesting.
