I was about to walk over to them when I smelled something sickly sweet and of death. It took me a minute to wrack my brain for the familiar scent, but when I figured it out I turned the other way and walked out the cafeteria.
~vampires~

~why the fuck are vampires in a school~ I said furious. It made no sense in any way shape or form. My hands where shaking and I'm pretty sure my eyes where turning a light purple.

I got no response from Luna as I made my way to the parking lot and it only irratated me more. ~LUNA ~ I barked out.

~I don't know okay....I don't understand why they are here either bella~ Luna said.

I didn't shift so that was an accomplishment, but I could feel my wings itching to be let free. I put up my shield hiding my scent and made sure I had my guard up.

~maybe they are different~Luna said carefully. She knows this is a touchy topic.

~different? They are different Luna? You really think that?~

~yes~ was the short answer

~ they are vampires the same things that killed my family and you say they are different~ I all but almost yelled

Then I remembered chance was still in the school.

I ran inside confused and upset that I didn't see who was walking in front of me. I wasn't running inhumanly fast but I'm pretty sure whoever I hit was supposed to at least move a little.

That's when I smelled it, death.

I looked at him passively but he was looking at me too intently like he was trying to look in at my soul. It was making me uncomfortable.

He had a pale complexion like the rest of them. His bed hair that would make any girl swoon only made me want to punch his face.

I moved passed him knocking into his shoulder as I went by and smiling to myself as I made him stumble back.

~bella you are an alpha stop being childish ~Luna scolded

Yeah I was an alpha but I've never really wanted to lead a pack.

When I made it back to the lunchroom chance was still in the same seat talking.

I walked over to chance ignoring the urge to look at Alice. I took his arm and pulled him into a corner. It still wasn't quiet but nobody else could hear us.

"There are vampires here" I hissed out he knew all about magical creatures humans thought didn't exist and I'm proof they do.

"Seriously where"?I tilted my head in there direction and sure enough they were looking over here.

Alice had a smile on her face her beautiful golden eyes melting me in place, but I couldn't help but growl when I saw an arm wrapped around the gorgeous pixie and the brutes arm wrapped around the golden hair goddess.

I think I growled a little too loud because the one that looks like he sat on a cactus moved his arm from around Alice and I slowly felt my irratation disperse.

I was still peeved that the golden hair goddess was to wrapped up in a conversation with the brute.

I shook my head of the thoughts of tearing arms off the guy, I had better things to worry about.

"Chance I need you to stay as far from them as poss- what are you looking at" i said turning twards the guy i ran into while i was running.

I rolled my eyes and pushed him twards the table we were just sitting at.
