She still spoke out about racism and sexism, but she did it less. She had a group of people that joined the cause, going around, spreading the word.
She really did feel accomplished with herself and what she had said for this movement.
Sure, some people still didn't like what she and many other people stood for, but she just didn't care anymore. All she could care about was the progress her community was making.
She realized that it doesn't matter what you do, there will always be one to disagree, and now she was totally fine with that, because everybody is entitled to their own opinion, and at times, their own wrong opinion.
She grew out of the stereotype that she was only pretty, and was finally seen as intelligent, because in her eyes, that is what she was always meant to be seen as.
And after everything that happened in the past school year, she was finally overjoyed to be a mixed girl.
