Darkness.

All I see is black, a dark abyss that hides the most formidable creatures. There is something wrapped around my mouth and eyes, hands tied behind me and each foot married to the foot of a chair. As my consciousness starts fading back to me, I feel my body starting to ache as I realise a thousand wounds have taken me hostage. Dazed and weak I sit there for hours with only my thoughts to entertain me. Wondering where I was or how I got here.

Screaming was no use as every muscle in my body was frozen solid. My ears bled as the deafening silence filled my mind muting my thoughts.

It's as if all my senses were turned off. I couldn't move, I couldn't see, I couldn't hear.
Where am I...

Wounds on my hands and feet where the ropes have detained me were visible lines of struggle, each skin cell tear, each drop of blood, every single tortured cell in my being reading help me

Just then, I hear a door being opened.

My heart in my throat as I hear footsteps walking around a seemingly large room, with only my ears to guide me I sense someone coming close, standing behind me. I feel their warm breath at the back of my neck, sending a chill down my spine.

My blindfolds we're finally removed and as I adjust to the dim lighting I see this tall dark figure holding a syringe; violet liquid swimming in the glass chamber.

My own breathing became difficult as panic filled my mind. Anticipation fills me to my neck as I sit helpless, praying that fate is one my side.
The wait makes me nervous as cold sweat drips off my forehead, my blood freezing and mind fogging. Unable to think I am paralysed.

"It's nice to see you again"

That voice.

I know it, but from who I cannot remember? My memory seems foggy but my instincts are screaming at me, telling me to get out of here immediately. Before I had anytime to react this figure stabs the needle into my arm, I squeeze my eyes as I feel the sharp incision of my skin being torn, feeling every molecule of the contents in that syringe flooding into me. A few seconds later I started to regain senses in my fingers and toes, able to move my head and breathe freely. I sigh in relief as I feel my chest rise and deflate as I inhale then exhale. For a split second I forgot about the situation I was in, I open my eyes to see a sinister glare, yellow eyes glowing in the darkness staring into my soul. An aura of evil that could send the Devil spiralling.

I knew I had to get out of here, wasn't sure where I would go after but I had to leave. Now.

Adrenaline pumps through me and I thrush my legs forwards with force breaking free from the ties, I try standing up and running away but my hands are tied so I stumble onto the floor. The dark figure flew to me at immense pace, seemingly unreal at its speed, I kick his legs and he groaned in pain making enough time for me to get up and back away. I bump into a table behind me and search the tops for anything that could help me.

A glass.

Without thought I smash the glass and pick up the biggest shard and untie myself having it ready in my palms, the pain as feel the shattered glass piercing into my hand as I hold it is unbearable, blood dripping onto the floor. With great force the figure pounces on me throwing me off balance and I fall again this time with the figure on top of me holding me down. The shard still in my hand, I force it into his chest and roll away, waiting for what happens next.

To my uncertainty, he gets up clearly in pain and rushes over to me.

"You little bitch, I'll make you pay!"

A heavy blow goes to my head, as I try not to fall I feel the world becoming darker, trying to stay awake I move my body but to no avail, he had cornered me as I barely stand; once again helpless. I see a light in his hands, my face twisting in horror as I realise it's the shard I used to stab him.

Without warning an excruciating pain fills my body. I drop to the floor as I feel the warm liquid dripping out of my abdomen, as I struggle to crawl away I become dizzy, darkness coming in all angles, I attempt to fight it off, but to my bitter luck,
The darkness had consumed me.
