(Era: weeks before Dark&Wild)
It had been 3 hours. 3 hours of nonstop practicing the new choreography with only two 15 minute breaks in between. Yet, they needed the practice. Namjoon and Jin struggled with the choreo and they all knew they wouldn't practice by themselves.
V now laid in the middle of the practice studio during their last break of the night, his heart pounding against his chest from the intense rehearsal. Sometimes he wondered if this job was going to be the death of him. His eyes fluttered shut as he listened to Jimin and Jungkook bicker about the dance routine for the tenth time that day. He adored his fellow maknaes, yet they seemed to frustrate him more and more as time passed. His ears tuned into the rap line working on what he assumed was another rap.
Probably lines to a new cypher, he thought sadly. Jin sat in the corner snacking on the food left for them for breaks. He smiled as his eyes slowly opened to reveal the way the hyungs treated one another. One by one they motioned for Jin to join them and he did so happily.
V flipped over casually, eying the red head and the brunette among the rap line. Yoongi and Hoseok sat close together, almost hip to hip, while J-Hope's arm rested on the red head's shoulder lightly. A smile formed on his face as he saw what was slowly happening between them. Suga's hand gracefully grabbed the brunette's snapback and placed it on his head in one swift motion that no one, other than V and Suga realized it had taken place.
"Okay ladies, its time to get up and rehearse once more," came from their choreographer. Tae couldn't help an eye roll as he slowly got up with the help of their maknae.
"You seem really interested in our hyungs. You okay?" Jungkook whispered as he took one last sip of water.
"Yeah, I'm alright. Just noticing the little things," he said, walking towards his beginning position, smiling to himself. Yeah, the little things sound about right.

"Hey, Hoseok!" Suga called as rehearsal finally came to an end for the next three days. They were required to go home and practice the choreo while on break, but everyone knew Namjoon was going to write music, and Seokjin was going to eat. That meant everyone could take the next three days to well... take a break. Suga's head rushed with the possibilities and the likeliness he would get out of his bed and came to no conclusion. He had a 72 hour date with his bed that he was excited for it.
So why was he calling over J-Hope? That he couldn't understand until the request left his lips. "Whats up hyung?" The brunette asked, his back towards the normally cool Suga.
"What're you doing throughout the break?" He asked. His breath evened slightly as he wondered why he suddenly struggled to talk to one of his best friends. J-Hope turned around and stopped dead in his tracks at the sight of Suga. He looked different, yet he couldn't place his finger on it, but he liked it, whatever it was.
"Oh nothing really, just going to go over the choreo nonstop. it's kind of what I do," he chuckled nervously. Suga smiled at how adorable he was being.
"I'm having a hard time with the choreo for Let Me Know..." he admitted, "you think you'd help me out? I'll bring food," he added the last part quickly. He didn't know what had gotten into him. He wasn't lying about struggling with the choreo for the song, but he rarely asked for help. Especially from J-Hope.
The brunette's smile widened as his head bobbed up and down quickly, causing the older of the two to smile. "How can I say no to food and my hyung? Come over at 7pm, okay? I wanna take a shower first."
They both nodded and smiled once more before going their separate ways. Suga's arm wrapped around Namjoon's neck as they ventured towards the studio to finish last minute details on the album, while J-Hope and Jin walked back to the dorms together in a bubble of laughter.
Meanwhile, V never let his eyes leave the two until their encounter was over. His smile grew as his thoughts created different scenarios for what was happening between his hyungs. They all thought he was weird and stupid, but if anyone was stupid it was Suga and J-Hope for not connecting the dots like he had. He considered himself a genius at these kinds of thing after all.
Jimin and Jungkook slung their arms around his shoulders beckoning him to return to planet earth. He laughed and shook his head at his friends. They fooled around for a few more minutes, laughing and dancing goofily, until both Namjoon and Suga came back in to escort them to the dorms, frowns plastered on their faces at the three youngsters.
They apologized for being loud and obnoxious, but their smiles remained, especially as Taehyung glanced at Suga.
Yeah the little things sound about right.
