(Hoseok's POV)
Beep. Beep. Beep.

My heart beats fast as the door slowly begins to open in front of me. I hold her hand tightly, waiting for him to enter the dimly lit room.

I pray for some good news, but by the way the doctor's lips curve, it isn't very positive. It had been a week since I found out about my mother; 5 days since Yoongi hyung told me it was going to be okay. I believed him and now I watch as two simple words shatter my entire existence.

"I'm sorry..."

I cry. I can't help, but let the tears slip as reality hits me like a semi truck. It can't be, she was getting better. How do I tell noona this? "What's happening to her?" I ask. The doctor's eyes look at me pitifully and I wipe my tears hastily. I'm a grown man. Start acting like it.

"Her heart is starting to fail. It's spread throughout her bloodstream and has reached her heart. She has hours before she goes into cardiac arrest and I don't think we'll be able to save her this time."

I nod as I look at the woman who raised me. She lay there peacefully looking like an angel from above. I knew she was in pain and if I forced her to stay, she would only be in more pain. "Then don't save her. Just let her... go."

(Third Person: No one's POV)
Their mouths hit the floor as the news of J-Hope's mother was revealed.

"His mother has cancer?" Jungkook muttered. Namjoon nodded as he held in his own tears. J-Hope's mother was like a seventh mother to them all and it hurt each and every one of them to find out this information.

"She's going to be okay though, right hyung?" Jimin desperately asked, a crying V in his arms. Namjoon smiled and nodded. He wasn't going to tell them otherwise. He had no idea what the future held.

Suga, however, felt a sense of anger form at his gesture. How can he just lie like that? He thought.

"What do you mean, hyung?"

The red head's cheeks grew to the colour of his hair as he realized he had said this thoughts out loud. He sighed and closed his eyes for a moment. Everything was going down hill and all he wanted to do was be with J-Hope.

"Go be with him hyung, we'll be here when you get back," V choked. The red head nodded realizing that he was no longer thinking to himself, but rather saying everything out loud. He stood up and grabbed his bag before stopping and turning to everyone.

"You guys should start preparing. I have a feeling it isn't going to be good when I return." With that he felt the room leaving 6 males blubbering and sobbing as if it were their own mother suffering. Yet it wasn't there's. It was Hoseok's and it angered him that they acted this way instead of being there for their friend. He grabbed his phone and earbuds and stuck them into his ears as he ran to the bus stop. Pressing play, he rolled his eyes at the song. It had been the song J-Hope had forced him to listen to a couple days ago by Justin Bieber that he was obsessed with. His lips curved upward slightly at the memory.

-Flashback-
"For the last time Hoseok, I'm not going to listen to some stupid song of yours!" He whined. J-Hope currently sat in Suga's room, watching him work on his music. It fascinated him to see how the talented min yoongi worked. He watched him copy and paste things and rearrange samples just for fun and then email it to himself to potentially use for an upcoming song. It impressed the brunette that he could do such things.

"Come on Yoongi Hyung! Just thirty seconds of it!" He pleaded.

"No. Last time you said that, the song was stuck in my  head for three days."

"It was a good song though."

"The song was about this guy's love for eggs in his ramen!" This caused the younger of the two to blush. He admits the lyrics weren't the best, but the beat was pretty dope.

"The beat was cool...." he mumbled. Suga sighed. Yes the beat was cool, but the lyrics were not.

"In a dancer's point of view, yes it was. You don't need to worry about the lyrics to dance. Just the beat and emotion of the piece. For a producer and songwriter like myself, the lyrics are everything. I couldn't live with myself if I produced something so trivial." J-Hope pouted slightly.

"Namjoon liked it and he's a producer..."

Suga sighed again. That was correct, but he wasn't Namjoon. He hated disappointing his donsaeng, but he just couldn't pretend to like something like that. "I like a song that actually means something, that's all. I'm not Namjoon..."

"Do you really think that's all that dancing is? A beat and emotion?"

"Why are we still having this conversation Hoseok?"

"You opened this can of worms, hyung."

Suga closed the program. As long as the boy was in his room he wasn't going to get any work done. He turned towards his bed and looked the boy up and down, smiling to himself. He wore black joggers and a black cut up sweatshirt with a bright red tank top underneath. It complimented himself and made him look quite attractive. He shook his head of the thoughts and returned to reality. "Should I think that?" He asked the younger one.

"No you shouldn't. You need to understand the lyrics to fully grasp the emotion of the song. You can't just rely on the beat. Hasn't anyone ever taught you that in high school?" He chuckled at the last part as an eraser came flying at him. He dodged it easily, being super extra in the process, landing on the floor. Suga let a little snort escape as he chuckled at his friends weirdness. He threw another and the younger dodged again, a scream leaving his lips as he moved. The red head turned back to his computer and sighed in content. This was what he enjoyed most. He felt an earbud jab into his ear and he looked up to see a bright ray of sunshine smiling down on him. "Just thirty seconds."
-End of Flashback-

It took an hour to get to the hospital by bus. He would've been faster, but he refused to use the Bangtan van without the other members. He walked in and stopped at the cafeteria, picking up two coffees and taking them to the room both Hoseok and Mrs. Jung were currently occupying. As he walked the long corridor, nurses gave him apologetic smiles and bows. His eyebrow raises slowly and realization sets in.

They're on the cancer research floor. Only dying cancer patients room here.

His pace quickens as he mutter apologies to the nurses he bumps into. He finally reaches room 394 and opens the door quickly, the coffees abandoned on the nurses desk outside. The sight in front of him breaks his already fragile heart. There is J-Hope, tears running down his face like two rivers, towering over his cold, lifeless mother. His eyes snap up to meet with his and he starts sobbing and screaming.

Suga immediately pulls him towards his chest and holds him tightly, letting the broken figure cry.

"She's gone Yoongi. She's gone forever."
