I plug in my earphones in an attempt to block the sound of rain.
I see a boy walking over, mouthing something.
"What?" I ask, taking out my earphones.
"Ow. Woah. No need to be so loud."
Blushing, I mumble and apology.
"Has the bus came yet?" He asks casually. Is he an idiot?
"If the bus had come, would I be standing here?" I ask, struggling to keep my voice calm. Instead, I plug my earphones in again.
He looks rather dumbfounded. He processes what i said and begins to look offended.
In a very obvious manner, he takes a few steps away from me.
I look away, concentrating on the music.
A while later I take out my earphones because there's too much rain and it's getting my earphones wet.
Finally, the bus comes. It practically flies in, and before I know what's happening, it passes the station, and mud from the ground is thrown everywhere by the wheels. And all over a poor victim. A.k.a me.
I stand there, motionless, covered in mud while the boy laughs heartily, clutching onto his stomach.
Nostrils flaring, I ignore him and start trudging to the bus which has stopped a few metres ahead.
"Karma is a b****" he whispers from behind, passing me and entering the bus.
What did I ever do to him?
I really despise rain.
