Hello...stranger I guess. My name is River Mourn. But just call me Flooding River, or River for short. I'm 28 years old, and I married the famous doctor...scientist...person, Mr. Andrew Mourn. He has made many breakthroughs in the scientific and medical world. But our marriage came with a bit of a predicament.
Or at least, it did for me.
You see, as my husband advanced more and more in his industry, many more people became quite jealous of both of us. I couldn't see why I would be envied as well, but it is how it is.
These civilians set many different messages displaying their...unpleasant nature. Death threats, blackmail, even some asking for favors out of lust. At least now those letters have stopped. But even though I hated them, and all of the others, I wish I could read those rather than the ones my husband gets.
But now to the actual point. You see, the reason why I'm saying all of this is because...
I'm dead. Poisoned, actually.
Don't freak out. I know that I'm a dead person talking to a living and breathing person, but that doesn't mean that you're going to die too. I was just hoping that you would come along and help me find out who killed me.
There are 5 suspects:
-My stepmother (not my favorite of the bunch, and she returns the dislike)
-My brother (by blood, not by my father's new marriage, but we've never really been too fond of each other)
-The maid (shy, but hardworking and slightly greedy)
-The cook (with the way I died, the pieces kinda fit, but if it isn't him, you should really try his Black Forest Cake)
-My best friend, Hardy (my husband knows he would never do anything, but he started acting weird after our marriage)So now that you know as much as you need to about my case, it's probably time for me to start digging in for clues to help the detectives find out: who killed Flooding River?
