Chapter 12: Albus

Albus walked out of his room looking around and remembered it was Christmas Eve . He ran down the stairs and into the kitchen were his mom and dad were . "Oh Albus your up do you mind getting Y/n and James . Lilly, Rose , and Hugo are already in the dinning room eating . " Albus nodded and walked up the stairs he knocked on y/n door and waited. A few seconds later the door swung open revealing y/n in sweats and a t shirt. She looked at him in surprise. "Right I'm at your house I totally forgot . " Albus laughed and walked away and knocked on James' door . James opened it revealing his shirtless shelf in red plaid pajama pants . James smelled food and ran down stairs . Y/n grabbed a sweater and followed in pursuit . Albus walked down in his pajama pants and t shirt . Once in the dinning room Albus took his seat next to y/n across from James . Albus watched as his mother flicked her wand summoning the breakfast dishes to the table . The table was full of chatter but Albus sat in silence and ate . All of a sudden the doorbell rang. "That must be Malfoy ." Harry stated getting up. Albus and y/n exchanged a glance before pushing back their seats and pushed each other trying to get a head of the other two the door . Y/n jumped on Albus' back as he carried her to the door which was open. In the door Frame was Draco Malfoy and his Son Scorpius. Scorpius looked a bit nervous with the the three adults in front of him . "Well I'm sure Scorpius will have a good time so I best be off . " Draco said shaking Harry's hand along with Ginny's . "Come on in Scorpius . Scorpius steps on taking off his heavy cloak and set down his bag after greeting the potters he turned to Albus and Y/n . Albus set down y/n and hugged Scorpius as y/n hugged Scorpius as well. The three ran into the dinning room and sat together chatting about everything . After breakfast Albus was asked to show Scorpius to his room . Y/n went along with the two boys . "Albus all the rooms are taken where will Scorpius stay?" Albus called for his dad . "Dad will show you ." Harry came up the stairs and with a wave of his hand a door appeared in between James and Albus' room a plack on the door like the others and a carving began to be shown . Scorpius H. Malfoy . As y/n stood in amazement Albus opened the door to let Scorpius in . Scorpius settled in and walked with Albus and y/n down stairs into the living room. Scorpius looked around at the book shelves in amazement. "Both you and y/n are in love with our books aren't you?" Albus laughed as both Scorpius and y/n blushed . Scorpius came up with a comeback . "Well your in love with -" he couldn't finish because Albus had covered his mouth and looked at Y/n with a sheepish grin . "Ginny walked in . "Ok kids go smarting while us adults get things settled ." Albus ran to his room to change into warm clothes . As he walked out he pumped it y/n and James kissing in the middle of the hall . Albus was about to say something when his dad came out of his room and pulled James down stairs . Albus looked at y/n then at the ground before walking down the stairs . Albus pulled his black coat on along with a hat and scarf. He was wearing jeans and a warm knit sweater from his grandma last year. He grabbed his skates and handed some white ones to y/n . She looked at him and took them . Scorpius walked in between them and put his arms around Albus and y/n . They walked down to the Small pond . Y/n looked over at Albus . "Al how do we- wait magic of course ." They watched at Hermione froze it and an even chiller feel was in the air . "Albus I not really good at skating. " Albus smiled . "Neither am I. I'm rubbish when it comes to skating . " Albus was about to take y/n's hand when James skates by taking y/n's hand in stead . Scorpius stood next to Albus as they watched them skate a bit . "Hurts doesn't it ." Albus nodded at Scorpius' comment . James had let go of y/n's hand and skated with Lilly before chasing her and Hugo around . Albus took this as his chance to skate with y/n . He was going to go around with Scorpius but Scorpius had ditched him to go see if he could talk with Rose . Albus skated over y/n who was skating slowly . "Here ." Albus offered her his hands . Y/n's mittened covered hands held on to Albus' gloved ones . Albus slatted backwards pulling y/n along . "Albus I thought you said you couldn't skate !?" Albus just shrugged and gave a cute side smile . "I didn't want to say I was good ." Y/n rolled her eyes but smiled . "You know people are right you are different . " Albus frowned a bit . "Really?" Y/n nodded . "Yea. Your sweet and caring I know they say your different because your Slytherin but just because you can snap doesn't mean your evil . They just need to know you ." Albus smiled warmly as y/n blushed a bit . Albus noticed y/n rub her chin and cheeks into her coat collar . "You ok ?" Albus asked while they skated . "Yea I just forgot my scarf . " Albus stopped causing y/n to bump softly into his chest. Albus took the scarf around his neck that hung loosely off and gently swung it over y/n's neck . It was a simple black scarf wit A.S.P stitched near the end of the scarf on each end . Y/ n and Albus were inches apart . Albus. He could feel her hot breath on his neck and chin as she was shorter then him. He looked down at her e/c eyes . All of a sudden Albus found himself falling . Either him or y/n tripped causing y/n to fall back dragging Albus along . Y/n fell softly, thankfully, onto the ice . Albus found himself over y/n his forearms holding himself up as he looked down at the girl beneath him. Albus felt nervous a knot formed in his stomach. Just then a snow flake fell and padded on y/n's cheek then more and more . Albus stared at y/n and then she spoke . "Ow " Albus was out of his little daze and scrambled to stand up . He held out his hand to y/n to stand . She took it and the started to laugh softly . "Sorry." The smiled at each other . "It's snowing and staying on the ground !" y/n said while looking at the now snow covered ground which was somewhat rare in England .from the house Harry yelled for them to come back in . Albus watched as y/n went a head linking arms with James . Scorpius walked over . "You made it Snow." Albus nodded. And they headed back to the house.
