Chapter 14: Y/n

Y:n woke up to cheerful voices from down stair signaling that breakfast was being cooked. She could smell the cinnamon from molly cooking and the sweet smell of Berries from the jam. And a hint of peppermint from the hot chocolate. Slipping out of the bed and wrapping herself in one of the warm blankets y/n walked out and went down stair to investigate all the food there was. As y/n entered the room her eyes met with Albus and and what had happened earlier that morning flooded back to her. Trying not to make eye contact she sat down and helped herself to the bacon. 'I think I'll have maybe one piece' she thought, 'well maybe 10' grabbing a muffin, eggs, French toast , hash browns and pancakes y/n dug in.
"Molly you *chew* honestly cook the mo*chew*st amazing food ever ,"
"Why thank you dear, now James eat up, you have only eaten 4 pancakes, and 3 helpings of hash browns , oh and lily dear I hope you're enjoying all the food"
Albus sat there across from y/n silently eating his food, y/n could feel the tension between them and tried to distract herself. " who's up for a game of quidditch after breakfast?" Y/n asked looking at the others.
"Oooh me , me!"
"Same I call seeker!"
"No James ur always seeker, I'm going to be seeker"
"Nah im seeker it's in my blood "
"The only thing in you're blood is pee and that's a fact "
Everyone stopped and looked at Hugo a little confused. "What ? I read it in the quibler " Ginny raised an eyebrow. " oh did you now?" Hugo just shrugged .
Y/n was full of energy all of the sudden which is a bit unusual. But she couldn't wait to play. " come on guys let's get ready !" Everyone rushed upstairs as if they were three , screaming and yelling and pushing. James picked up y/n and ran up the stair laughing. "James put me down!! " she laughed out trying her hardest to sound stern. "Nope, no Can do miss y/l/n"
At the top James set her down and scampered off to his room .
Meanwhile y/n changed into some warm comfortable clothes and did her morning routine. She must have gotten ready fast because no one else was down stairs yet. "I'm going out back! " she yelled from the door . Just as the door was closed shut it opened again. There Albus stood, hat, scarf , mitts , coat and everything else . "My mom makes me wear it." Y/n chuckled to herself. "Um about this morning-" she started . "I was thinking about it too-" Albus added. "I was thinking-" they both said in unison, "you go first " , "no you go ", "fine one the counter of 3 we both say it ." , "1,2,3"
"I think you should stay with James"
" I think we should just be friends for right now"
Surprised, the two laughed , "I guess we're on the same page "
The door opened again and the others walked out with their game faces on .
"Bring it on."
