Travis Fletcher

Tatum is a very interesting girl. After I left her dorm I couldn't erase the stupid smile from my face. She's funny and stubborn and absolutely breathtaking.
When I parked my car outside the house I walked inside to see a few guys piled on the sofas watching a horror movie. I ignored their comments and rushed up the stairs to Cameron's room.

"Put your clothes on because I'm coming in." I pushed the door open and laughed as I walked in.

"Travis!" Cassie screamed, pulling the covers over her quickly. I turned around to give them some privacy.

"What are you doing man?" Cameron asked me. He sighed once I had turned around and looked at the door until they changed.

"Cassie." I stated, walking backwards until I was sitting at the foot of the bed to make it clear I wasn't leaving. "Tatum's really hot so why won't she go out with me?"

Cassie laughed as if I were an idiot. She crossed her arms and glared at me with her brown eyes.

"Tate's too good for you, Travis." Cameron rolled his eyes at me.

That did seem true. She's definitely too good for me. I was not going to deny the obvious here but still.

"She's a hopeless romantic. She believes in love at first sight and shit and if she felt that with you I need to talk some sense into her." Cassie frowned.

"Especially considering she walked in on you dry humping Kimberly." Cam added with a sly chuckle.

I shot him a daring look and sighed. If she didn't fall in love with me at the very beginning, I'll have to convince her I'm an amazing guy. What's not to like about me?

"Well I really like her. Tell me everything I need to know." I demanded Cassie.

They both groaned and leaned against the headboard. Cassie told me a lot about Tatum, nothing too personal but a lot that seemed made up.

I don't know if I trust her. I wanted to ask about her brother, but that felt wrong. I didn't want to violate Tate's trust with me, even if she had none.

"I don't think you have a chance." She shrugged, trying to be honest. Or maybe she's just trying to get me to leave them alone.

"I'm going to win her over." I nodded.

I want to get to know her. I've never met someone so easy to talk to. For me the girls are usually not up for talking which I don't mind. Tatum is sure of herself and very witty. I like that she isn't all over me.

Maybe a little more attention would do, so far she doesn't seem that into me.

"Try flowers. Flowers work." Cameron added with a nod.

I've never gotten a girl flowers.

"Like roses?" I asked. My brain was trying to wrap
around what non sexual thing girls like.

"Yeah, idiot. Like roses." Cameron hassled me and I rolled my eyes.

"Get her pink roses. Pinks her favorite color," Cassie added, I smiled and took a deep breath.

"Thanks guys"

"You so much as look at her incorrectly and you'll regret it, Travis. She's been through a lot and she doesn't need some jackass fuckboy trying to get into her pants by playing with her heart." Cassie hissed and I chuckled.

"My intentions are good. You two make smart choices. God is always watching" I winked and she made an exasperated sigh.

I was serious about my intentions being good. Genuinely. I knew Tate was playing hard to get and that was my favorite game. It's way more attractive than when they act desperate and needy.
