"Well it's nice to meet you Shiro. Would you like to join us for lunch? Our daughter just went to the garden to get some things." Said Maddox with a friendly smile.
"I would love t-"
"Papa! Dada! Help!! It chasing me!" Yelled a young female's voice.
The two men looked at each other and smiled. Both had this look on that held curiosity and happiness, then raced out the door. I found that strange, would they be worried about the child?I quickly followed pursuit, but was surprised at why I found.
There was a young girl, six by the looks of it, holding on to a laughing Ajax. Maddox was holding a fuzzy little creature that looked like a tomcat kitten. With four eyes. Soon me and Maddox broke into laughter with the other male.
"That's not funny." Pouted the young girl.
We only laughed in response. This cause the girl to pout even more. Then a look of realization hit Ajax.
"The food!" Shouted Ajax, quickly put down the girl and ran inside.
This caused me, Maddox to brake into more laughter. The child soon joined in.
"Cele sweetheart can you come and help Papa?!" Asked Ajax from the other room.
"Yes, Papa!" Shouted the girl as she ran into the house.
That when I noticed something about the child. She really didn't look like, what I assume, her father's. He didn't have Altean markings or had the pointed ears. She looked human.
"Come, it's almost time for breakfast." Called Maddox from the door. The creature he was hold, was now at his feet. I smiled as I walked into the house. Looked outside, that's when I finally noticed that they had a huge garden full of colorful heard and flowers. I smiled even more, I closed the door so I could go have some breakfast.
