!Alert Dos .0! An Explanation! PLEASE READ!

So many of you have had lots of questions come up about this website! And I'm here to answer them as best as possible.

After talking with many authors via PM and the comment section, we've been piecing and explaining some things on what exactly is going on.

"What's going on?" Is a popular question. Let me explain.

There is a foreign website that has hundreds of STOLEN Wattpad books on there (some maybe yours)

We've figured out that if you type in your username and "doc truyen" all together, that you may find your book.

"Doc Truyen" in Vietnamese means "Read this book"

Now that might confuse some of you, like: "Read this book"?? What?

They are advertising your book on a foreign website without your permission. Your book is copyrighted to you so therefore all rights and advertisement do belong to you. So copy your book on a website is illegal and also stealing!

Yes, they still have your name and authors names on there books, meaning credit has been given to you. But they also said ok the website that they have "your permission"(meaning you personally) gave them your permission to post it. BUT THEY ARE LYING. All 3 of my accounts with all of my books are on this website along with many others and none of us have given are permission.

This is illegal. And this is stealing.

THIS IS NOT HACKING!

"Why do we need to change our passwords?"

To be honest, now that I've figured out almost everything and that they aren't hacking they are simply, copying and pasting your book to a website. So DO NOT be scared for freaking out that your account has been hacked. It hasn't. Sorry for that inconvenience and scare.

The point is..

They are stealing.

It's illegal.

You have your books copyrighted to you.

All we can do. Is spread the word to authors all around wattpad so they are aware of what is going on and if their book maybe stolen.

Process:

Spreading the word let's authors know, authors spread it more. The website is getting reported by dozens and dozens more. The faster it gets taken down. The faster we are less stressed. And books can no longer be posted and stolen from you.
