{clementines pov}
I wake up, earlier then the others. My first intention was to leave and grab some of there supplies. But on second thought, I wouldn't want some dick to do the same to me. So I just tip toed down the stairs, trying my best not to wake them from there slumber.

Yesterday was an odd day. Meeting new people were like the first day of school. Especially when you have the weird feeling in your stomach as you walk in the class room with all eyes on you. That's how it felt being around them. Like I was some type of freak show

Although I was stubborn around them, I didn't care if they thought of me in a bad way. I've been through so much shit that had to deal with people, it made things harder for me to trust other human beings, so I just try my best to not open up. Even though it means I have to be a total bitch.

I walk into the living room, sitting on the very snoozy couch that was placed on the side. I took out my butterfly lighter and start flickering with it, waiting patiently for someone else to wake up and cook some breakfast maybe. I wasn't going to touch any of there food simply because it wasn't mine. None of it was. I only accepted it if it were given to me. But soon enough I hear someone come down the stairs.

I slightly peek through the corner of my eye, seeing who it was. And it was that boy Gabriel. He stands there and looks at me as I flicker the lighter. though my head wasn't fully turned and looking at him back, I could still feel his eyes piercing at me. It was so silent between us that the only thing you could hear was the scrape of the lighter.

"Do you--um...want some food or something?"he said finally breaking the harsh silents.

I look over to him making eye contact. He looked nervous to speak to me, his hand was actually slightly shaking as stood there. This is how I know I should act somewhat softer around these people if they really think I'm this scary. Ha. Good joke Clem, but I will be what you call nice right now considering he's offering food. I sighed standing up.

"Sure. That'd be nice" I said softly and his facial expression was amazed but kinda blank.

"Ok...alright, I'll go get Kate" he said shakily as he breathed out. His face goes red but he quickly turns away. I watched when He went up stairs. I sit down again but this time at the dinning table and twiddled with my thumbs.

A couple seconds later he comes back down, but with Kate and Javier. I guess Javier must've woke up as well. Kate went straight to the bag full of supplies. She pulled out granola bars. She handed each of us two of them.

I was the first to chow down on the granola bars. Last night I felt I didn't have enough food so I was still kinda hungry. Again all eyes were on me. They were watching as I ate it like a bar of chocolate. I just kept biting until cheeks were full, then started to chew, swallow, repeat. Nothing more.

I already finished while they were still on there first bars. I sighed as I looked down at the table knowing that the next time I'll get food will be at dinner. It's not like we had that much food to eat lunch. And two granola bars weren't doing the trick for a breakfast meal

I feel a hand tap my shoulder, I look over and it was Gabriel holding his second granola bar. Was is that evident that I am still hungry? I guess it was because he was trying to hand me his granola bar. Obviously I wasn't going to take the bar, knowing that I wasn't the only one starving

"You don't have to..." I refused, pushing his hand away and standing up front the table. He didn't budge to argue, just sat back down and ate the rest of his food. I sighed, waiting for them to finish.
