7|YOU REEK OF REGRET
Keith Summer cheating revelation spread faster than Kim Kardashian 2nd marriage.
By the time lunch came around, I was receiving so much stares and whispers that I felt suffocated.
I even caught the science teacher talking about it.
With eyes glaring at the back of my head, I search the locker for my wallet.
"Can we talk?" Ask Keith Summer himself.
As if seeing him in every of my classes wasn't enough. He thinks he's still privileged with the right to talk to me.
"Actually no, you can't." I say loud and clear to him while still looking for my wallet.
My words went from one ear and left out the other because he still stood behind me, even moving beside me.
I smile in glee finally finding my wallet and closing the locker. My eyes roll on their own finding him leaning on the locker beside mine.
"You have every right to hate me. I know what I did was wrong, and I feel awful for hurting you like that. Bloom, you were nothing but nice to me and I took you for granted. You were the best thing to ever happen to me and I don't even know what I was thinking, actually I wasn't thinking because if I was, we wouldn't be here. And you'd still be mine. " The jock breath, eyes slowly peering into mine.
'Are you done?'
I raise a brow, perfectly displaying my though.
I can see the moving of his Adam apple as he breath. I avert my gaze from his and search the hallway of students trying to discreetly glance our way, while silently whispering.
I hated it, him and them for not minding their own business.
"I'm sorry." Say Keith with his eyes full of honesty.
If only it was that easy. He can't be serious right. Sorry. Sorry and that makes everything better.
Keith Summer knew how to do one thing very well and it is getting what he wants. The summer before freshman year, he finally notice me after pinning for him for so long. Not wanting to seem desperate, I played hard to get, but eventually he got me. The pretty boy with the nice attitude knew what to say and when to say it.
But his charm didn't faze me.
Let me make this quick, I'm hungry.
"I forgive you!" I exclaim while watching his lips curve in a smile.
But I continue.
"I forgive you. Is that what you want to hear. The good girl always does that right, forgives those that stumps all over her." His smile instantly drops. Good.
Oh I wasn't finish.
"You were the good guy, Keith. The safe choice. Keith Summer, the boy every mother wished their daughter dates and I seriously though you had enough respect for me to end things with me before cheating. And worst, cheating on me with my best friend." I say with disgust sipping through every of my words.
