After a moment of recovery, Raymin sits up and looks around. It's dark with only the light of a lantern creeping into the cell. Raymin continues to look around the room and sees a figure in the corner of the room. They seem to be curled up and sobbing. It's Shade. He gets himself to his feet and walks over to Shade. He kneels down and slowly puts his hand on her shoulder. "Hey, Shade. Are you ok?" Shade looks up with a look of relief and hugs him. " Thank god you're alright. I thought you'd never wake up." She said with tears beginning to form in her eyes. " Woah, woah kiddo calm down. I think dying is the least of my problems." He said wiping the tears away. "No, you don't understand. These guys were after ME. These are the guys that i owe money to. They're going to kill us!" Shade said in a panicked tone. "Calm down shade I'm not gonna let anyone kill you." Raymin said trying to comfort her. "You're right." said a man at the bars of the cell. "We're gonna sell the girl to the highest bidder. Then we'll cut you into tiny pieces and feed you to the dogs." Raymin tried to get up and move towards the bars but the chains on his hands were connected to the wall. "Oh, you thought it was gonna be that easy?" The man said slightly chuckling. He opened the door to the cell and walked in. He then stepped towards Shade and grabbed her by her hair. "Time to shine beautiful, we've got some lucky buyers today." The man began to drag Shade along by her hair. Shade screamed for help but Raymin was hopeless to do anything, as he was still chained to the wall. After the man had left and the cell door closed Raymin was still stuggling to get out of the chains. After a bit of thinking, Raymin got an idea. He began to repeatedly strike his hand as hard as he can against the wall until it was shattered. With his hand now shattered he was able to pull it out of the chains. And with a little time his hand healed itself, so he did the same thing to the other hand. After his second hand had healed, Raymin went up to the bars of the cell to look around but he couldn't see much. Raymin began to look around the cell for any weakness but there wasn't any. After another moment he could hear footsteps down the hall. It sounded like they opened another cell. Raymin went up to the bars and began to yell "Hey! Who's out there?! Let me out, NOW!" After a while a fragile looking boy came into Raymins view. "You! Who are you?" The boy flinches a bit before answering. "I'm Jamie, I'm here to clean the cells." "Can you get me out of here?" Raymin asked. "What! No, no way the boss would kill me if I did that." Jamie said beginning to tremble. "I can help you kid, I can help you get out of here alive. Just get me out of here." Raymin said trying to calm Jamie down. Jamie took a second to think, then said shly. "How do I know you won't hurt me?" "Do I look like someone who would hurt you?" Raymin asked. "Sort of." Jamie replied. "Alright, that's fair. But I promise I will not harm you." Raymin said. Jamie hesitated for a bit. "Alright but you have to make sure to take me with you." "Deal!" Raymin said without hesitation. Jamie reached into his pouch and pulled out a key ring. After a second of sifting through keys, he found the key to Raymins cell. As the door opened Raymin stepped out and looked around. "Where do they take the slaves they sell?" He asked Jamie. "About two floors up in a special showing room. But there are too many guards between here and there, we'll never make it." Jamie said with a worried look in his eyes. "Oh, I'm gonna make it no matter what. I'm not gonna let them hurt shade. And I'm gonna kill anyone who gets in my way." Raymin said. Jamie looked at him in awe, he had never seen a man with so much determination before. He felt like he could trust him. So with that Jamie nodded as the two ran out of the prison to go save Shade.
