Chapter Nine

No one's pov

As Lucy dragged Haruka with her out of that mansion , they both sat beneath that tree like always.

Lucy took some deep breaths to calm herself down and Haruka watched her not sure what to say at times like this.

After some fifteen minutes , Lucy calmed down and was back to her normal self. And then asked haruka some questions.

" So Haru-chan what did prez say to you exactly?"

Haruka smiled as she explained the whole incident to Lucy. Lucy nodded her head and then sighed.

" You think I can perform on the stage."

Lucy asked as she hugged her knees and waited for an answer from haruka.

Haruka smiled

" You can. And you'll look great."

" I don't think so haru...."

Lucy said as she tried burry her head in her knee. It's Haruka's turn to sigh and said

" Don't be down lu. Remember what I said at the beginning?. I won't let you blow this chance. I will make sure you stay strong. "
Haruka smiled a genuine one. And Lucy smile a little for not so long .

Lucy looked up to the blue sky as the wind blew past them

" Hope it goes fine....."
Lucy mumbled still looking at the sky. Haruka heard what she said and smiled at her before laying her back on the grass and closing her eyes. And they are just relaxing.

Time skip : Next day~

Haruka pov

Yes!. Today is the day lu-chan will show her talent to Japan!!. I was excited and at the same time worried for lu, as she is in a corner with a gloomy aura surrounding her.

"Haruka!!!!!"

I was soon engulfed in a hug.

Tomo-chan. I smiled. And I hugged her back.

" Where's lu?" She asked as we broke the hug.

I pointed to the corner while sweatdropping and with a small smile.

Tomo-chan freaked out by seeing lu-chan and shook her shoulder vigorously.

" Lu!! You okay. What the heck happened? Why are you like this!!. Is this really you ??. "

She didn't get any response from the purple shaded Lucy.

I sighed. And told Tomo-chan told everything that happened yesterday.

And she could only say

" Oh."

Cuz she knows lu-chan has a severe stage fright.

" But lu. You like to sing right?. Why do you let your fear win against your wish?"

I nodded in agreement.

" I don't knowwww...." Lucy whined.

" Lu-chan don't think about past. You might have embarassed them once but that's not gonna happen again. It's your chance to make them proud of you lu. Please. I am here with you along with Tomo-chan. "

I smiled and tomo-chan grinned while nodding her head yes.

Lucy giggled

" Guess I have no other choice."
She smiled. We know it's fake.

As lu-chan went to the dressing room , Tomo-chan asked me a question

" Do you think she will be okay....?"
Worry is written in her eyes as she glanced at the direction Lucy just went.
