Chapter Two

The doctor pressed on the top of his pen and began to write. ''So, how do you feel today?'' he looked over the edge of his glasses.

''Fine. I just have a headache. And my leg is really hurt.''

He began writing.

''Right, okay. Later, a dokter will check your stitch for inflammation and stuff. Just to be sure.''

He took off his glasses and hooked it into the collar of his uniform.

"And if your leg is ok, then you can go home by tomorrow." the dokter explained. He gave me a small smile and walked out of the room.

Home. I had not thought of that. I didn't even know where I was. The hospital excluded..

*beep - beep - beep - beep*

I was awakened by the beeping sound. I leaned forward and rubbed my eyes. I looked around the room, and remembered where I was.

The hospital.

''Oh, my medication - sorry if I woke you.''

I smiled and shook my head, ''No problem, I was already awake.'' I lied.

I pulled my hand through my hair and made a messy bun. I pulled the elastic of my wrist, and tied it around it. Today I'm going 'home'.

Once they were done checking my leg, I got crutches. I walked over to the reception.

''Hi, I want to be unsubscribed please.''

The receptionist looked at me and smiled, "What's your name?''

I tought for a second, and then spoke,

''Ruby Moore."

She typed something on her computer, and then looked back at me,

''Alright, I see."

The receptionist pulled open a drawer and began searching. She pulled out a form and handed it to me. I took it.

"Do you want to fill this out please?"

She asked while holding out a pen.

"Yes, sure. But.." I held my crutch up.

"Oh, yes. Right."

She took the form from me,

"I'm sorry." She added.

I smiled, "It's okay."

"So, the name was Ruby.." The receptionist looked over at me.

"Moore, Ruby Moore."

She looked over to the form and began filling it in for me.

"Okay, well thanks for your stay and have a nice day.'' she smiled.

''Thanks, you too.''

I tried to wave, but it was no use because of my crutches.

''Bye.'' I finally said.

I smiled uncomfortably because of my clumsiness.

I walked through the long corridors of the hospital. I heard coughing and crying of children. A child looked at me, and said to her mother,

"Mom, what's wrong with that girl?''

The mother smiled,

''Nothing bad anymore, honey.''

I blushed and stumbled on through the long corridors until I bumped someones chest. ''Oh, er, sorry.. I-''

"It's okay love.''

I looked up and I met a pair of piercing green eyes. It was a young boy of about between 18/21. He had perfect chocolate brown upstanding curls. His skin was perfectly tanned, and there was a small birthmark on the left corner of his mouth - full pink lips, and a perfect pair of - straight - pearly white teeth.

When he smiled there appeared two deep dimples in his cheeks.

The boy smirked

''Done checking me out?''

I looked away, blushing. Again.

''So, if I may ask.. Why the crutches?''

I glanced at the crutches.

''Something with leg. I don't know exactly. But I can go home now. And what are you doing here?'' I said shyly.

The boy sighed,

"I came to see anyone here. But I'm not sure what name I should ask for.''

I looked him straight in the eyes and asked more confident,

''A family member?''

He raised an eyebrow.

I looked at the ground ''Sorry..''

He shook his head,

"No, it's okay. I came here to find someone that I- er, yeah.. I accidentally hit with my car.'' he sighed out.

''Oh, I'm so sorry, again. I didn't know.''

I felt so stupid. I must have to unlearn my curiosity. Damn.

I felt so sorry with the boy. He looked up at me and stuck his hand out.

''Harry. Harry Styles.''

He smiled kindly.

I took his hand and shook it. I almost fell over because I was leaning on only one crutch. Before I hit the cold hard floor, I was caught by a pair of muscular arms. I looked up and saw that the boy had saved me from my probably painful fall. I blushed and muttered a soft,

''Thanks.''

He smirked, ''Are you going to tell me your name, love?''

I felt my cheeks heat.

''Ruby Moore."

''What a lovely name.''

Something of him looks so familiar to me. But I couldn't put my finger on it.

Then suddenly my heart hit a few beats slower.

''Now I remember.'' I whispered. But just loud enough for him to hear.

''Remember what?'' he asked worried.

I sighed. ''Th-th-the a.. accident.''

My jaw dropped when I looked at him one more time. He grabbed my shoulders and looked me straight in the eyes. I just stared at him blankly.

''Remember what, Ruby.'' he questioned in a confused tone.
