I am... falling
Yes that's correct I believe.
Or maybe not who knows.
My bones and flesh feel like their burning off but at the same time it feels so good. I don't know why through...
What I remember is unclear
" I'm sorry!"
The last words I heard before falling. Did I say them? Or am I the person they were saying sorry to and if so why are they sorry? To many questions and not enough answers.
And then it happened I fell into the ocean.
I let the ocean surround me and looked at the full moon and stars beneath the water.I swam to the top and gasped for breath before another wave pushed me back under. My lungs started filling a bit with salty water.
I wanted to give up. I was so tired and sore. My bones and skin felt bruised. But I couldn't give up now! I wasn't going to drown! I wouldn't let myself drown!
I came back to my senses and swam back up to the surface spitting out salty water. Again I was thrown under the water. I Felt my head hit something, hard.
That's when everything went dark.

Beep beep
Marcus hit the alarm clock turning it off. He turned on his side and groaned. He finally got up and and went over to his mirror.
His brown curly hair was an absolute mess and his clear ocean blue eyes had bags under them. He gave a half smile "not a pretty sigh, huh?" He said to himself "let's fix that shall we?"
He grabbed his comb and combed out the tangled in his curly hair but ruffled it after wards to give it that messy look. He then went over to his closet and changed from plaid pajamas to blue jeans, black converse, a black t-shirt and a dark red sweatshirt with a bird skull on the back.
Marcus walked down the stairs and picked up his orange back-pack. His parents had already gone to work so he had to walk to the city school. It wasn't a far walk so it wasn't that bad.
Marcus looked at the school and gave a half smile "welcome back to hell." He said to himself and walked in most kids aka nerds geeks and same others were already out of the halls. "Hey Mars! Get over here!" Said Devin, Marcus best friend and one of the few guys who called him Mars.
Marcus gave him him infamous half smile and gave him a fist bump. Devin had dirty blond hair and chocolate brown eyes that many girls swoon over. White now he was wearing a short sleeve purple t-shirt and black jeans. "Hey Dev what up dude?" Mason ask. "Nothin' much just got a date with Jolie tomorrow."
"Really? How did that happen."
"You should know now Mars that I am irresistible!"
"More like irresponsible."That got Marcus a hit to the shoulder "hey dude you know I'm right." Marcus said lifting his hands in the air. Devin rolled his eyes "shut up. We have company."
Marcus looked over and saw Eric, a red hair asshole who He owed money too. Wonderful.
"Shit." Marcus said under my breath.
"Hey buddy! How's life?" Eric said as he put a arm over Marcus shoulder. "Horrible." Marcus mumbled. "Great! Now let's talk..." suddenly Marcus was pushed up against the locker by the other sophomore who was only a inch taller.
"Where's. My. Money." Eric growled almost.
"I. Don't. Have. It!" Marcus pushed him off.
"Look I'll get it next week just... give me time."
Eric frowned but nodded "fine but if I don't get it by then your dead!" Eric said harshly before shoving him against the locker one last time an walking off.Marcus sighed. He felt a hand on his shoulder "don't worry you'll get the money by then, hopefully." Devin said with optimism. Marcus smiled "thanks Dev." You mumble before the two of you headed to your classes.
The first thing you heard as you enter was
"YOUR LATE!"—
I open my eyes and looked around I felt sand under my finger tips, it was wet and sticky. I lifted my fingers and looked at them.
Red.
Sticky red blood.
Well not exactly red... more like a lighter shade of red.
I try to get up, pushing myself up with my arms. They trembled and fell back to the ground. My blonde- white long hair fell in front of my face and I whimpered in pain.
I probably have a concussion and my head was probably bleeding. My grey eyes searched for something, anything to come an help me.
Then I saw him.
—
School had just let out and Marcus was walking back home taking the long way. Devin would have joined him but he had to get back home since some of his older sister, Emily was coming home from college. He wasn't actually related to his sister nor anybody else in his family. He was adopted but Devin didn't care and still called them family.
Marcus walked until he passed the beach and saw someone. Someone bleeding. It was a cloudy day so nobody would come to the beach, plus it was November the water was too cold. From far away the person looked like she was laying down until you notice the light red blood on the sand. Marcus ran over and flipped the person over, checking for a heartbeat.
From faraway they looked like a dude with long hair but up close you could see that it was a girl. Marcus checked the heartbeat by putting his head on her chest and heard the plus.
"Hey! Wake up!" He said giving a bit of a nudge. She opened her eyes. Marcus's blue ocean eyes met silver eyes with speckles of green in them. Marcus then took out his phone and called 911.
The ambulance came shortly since the hospital was about three miles away. The people put the girl on a stretcher and pulled her into the ambulance.
"Do you know her?" Asked one of the workers
Mason shook his head "no, never seen her before. Ever." The worker nodded before heading to the back of the ambulance. Marcus yelled "wait can I come. I wanna make sure she's alright!" The worker looked away at the side but then nodded. Marcus jumped into the back with the worker and rode off to the hospital.________________________________
