I woke up in my bedroom, but it seemed darker than it usually is.
"Pssst! Meredith!" I whispered to my friend.
She wasn't in her bed, it was empty. I looked over to the rest of the beds. All of the beds were completely empty!
Did they all leave without me?
I look back and in the middle of the room is a red haired woman. She was wearing lipstick as red as blood. I looked into her eyes and I saw death.
"Look sweetie, I don't have time to chit chat, so if you would just tell me where you are?" The woman stated.
"Who are you?" I asked.
She let out a sigh and said, "My name is Abbadon, and my guess is you're McKinley."
"No that's my last name. My name is Paige." I answered
She stepped closer to my bed.
"Good, but that wasn't my question. Where exactly are you?"
"We're an a orphanage." How could she be asking if she was right here . . . with me . . .
"Am I dreaming?" I asked.
"Not quite. Could you be more specific? What's the name of the orphanage?" She asked.
"Why do you need to know?"
"Listen little girl. As I said I don't have time." Abbadon was starting to get impatient and I did not want to be present to see her explode.
If I am dreaming how can I wake myself up?
"Now give me the name of the orphanage or I'll take it out if you!" she yelled.
"I'm not scared of you!" I yelled back. Maybe I was a little scared, but I wasn't going to give her the satisfaction.
Abbadon stepped closer to me. She was practically almost on top of me. Her face was so close to mine I felt her breathing on me, which is kind of gross.
She put her hand on my throat. Her red nails digging into my neck leaving marks on my skin. I felt like I was breathing through a straw.
"You're lucky I can't hurt you. Or you wouldn't have that precious little mouth of yours." she hissed.
"Get away from me!" I closed my eyes and clawed at her arm. I tried pushing away, but I didn't feel her hand on my neck any more.
I slowly opened one eye and then the other as I let out a breath I didn't know I had been holding.
I layed on my bed astonished. I was back in my room. My real room, with everyone from the orphanage.
"Did you have another one?" Croaked Meredith.
I turned to my left and I see my friend rubbing her eyes. Her curly ginger hair was everywhere.
"Yeah, but this one was different." I was about to go back to bed when Ms. Margo came in.
"Ladies! Time to get off your lazy butts and start cleaning!" She hollered.
Ugh I can't wait for the day to be over. I hope Cas comes tonight.
"Paige! Didn't you hear me?"
