Rebecca woke, hair a complete mess. Rick had already been up and up out of bed. She got up and put her hair up, as she couldn't be assed to brush it. She made her way downstairs to see Morty sitting on the couch watching Ball Fondlers.
"Hey bud!" Rebecca yelled to him from the kitchen. Nothing like a morning beer.
"H-hey Rebecca!"
Rebecca sat next to him. cracking the can open.
"What episode?"
"The one where they blow up that thing, ha-have you seen it?"
"Have I seen it!? ITS ONLY MY FAVOURITE!" She laughed.
"oh! I-I was suppose to tell you. Rick said he had to go some-somewhere."
"Alright thanks." Rebecca smiled at Morty.
When the episode ended Rebecca went in to garage to find something to fix. But when she stepped in the door way she started laughing. She saw rick with a bowl haircut from behind, fidgiting with his portal gun.
"Rick, what the hell is up with the-"
Rick turned around but it wasn't her Rick. He was fucking adorable. Like little kid adorable; Like "I JUST WANNA SQUEEZE YOUR CHEEKS" adorable.
"oh! Hi! My-my uh portal gun broke when I got here! Sorry for intruding!"
"Oh...my...god... You look just like Rick"
"Rick J19 Zeta7."
"Are you implying there are MORE of you."
"Yeah! There is a Rick for-for every one of the infinite dimensions!" This Rick had one lazy eye and buck teeth but was absolutely adorable.
"Well, Rick, I'm Rebecca!"
"H-hello!!!"
Rebecca just hugged him. He was too cute for his own good."Y-your hair is very pretty." He smiled.
"Awwweeeee thank you!!! My rick isn't big on compliments!" She laughed. "I'll fix your portal gun." She said turning to rummage through tool boxes and storage units
"That's okay. You- as long as you know you're beautiful that's what matters. Self worth is every-everything."
"You're gonna make me tear!! " Rebecca smiled a bit tears pricking her eyes. She opened up an empty roll up tool pouch and shoved the tools she needed in it. She grabbed her homemade goggles from the shelf. She really hated regular science safety goggles so she made her own. The cool thing about these was the fact that they had night visions and magnification properties the could toggle. They were the first things she made from scratch rather than just fixed up.
"Alright! Let's go sit in the living room!" Rebecca said, grabbing his wrist and pulling him along. The sat down on the floor and Rick J19zeta7 sat next to her.
"Where is your Rick, Rebecca." Rick asked.
Rebecca pulled out a screwdriver and started taking the portal gun apart. "He's out on some adventure somewhere" she bit her tongue focusing. She got the top panel off exposing the inside of the gun. "So why do you look different than the other Ricks?"
"Well eh, *he burped softly*, not all ricks are the same, but I usually get called doofus rick because I'm so different." His voice barely faltered as it was clear he was used to feeling this way. Though, tears pricked his eyes.
Rebecca stopped what she was doing and looked at Rick a moment. What he had been going through was awful. "Well, I think that you might just be the Rickiest Rick. You see, maybe You are the most intelligent rick because you seem to be the only one who can comprehend feelings. I think that makes you really special. You're the only kind of unique Rick there is. Be proud of that."
