Wow, first actually chapter in a month. Sorry that took forever. Here we are. Also, sorry it's short, I just wanted to get out a chapter.
---------------------------------------------------------Tears started to stream down Goth's face. He turned to look at Palette, who had fallen asleep against the tree. Goth wanted to run away. But then moon had risen and the sun had dissapered. His legs where weak as well. Goth let out a small choked sob. It was quite enough so Palette didn't hear.
Goth leaned against a tree. It was tall and the bark was peeling out. The tree was dead and clearly rotting. Goth closed his eyes and fell asleep as his legs gave out.
After a few hours there was a low hoot like sound in the distance. This bolted Goth awake. He was a bit of a light sleeper. It was still dark out. Goth stood up and looked over towards Palette. He had trouble but was still able to see Palette. Palette still asleep. He slept like a rock.
Goth squinted his eyes through the darkness. It was the darkest hour of the night. 3 am. Though Goth was still weak he was determined. He squinted his eyes so he could adjust to the darkness. He sighed, not being able to see anything really infront of him. But he soon did. It was a small light. Probably a flashlight. It was a good distance away, 10 miles at the most but probably lower.
A small spark of hope light up in Goth's soul. He had almost lost his hope. He ran, not caring if Palette heard him or not. Though thankfully Palette didn't wake up. Dispit Goth legs wanting to give out, they didn't. He was weak but he persevered. Tears ran down his face but he kept going.
He had no idea how long he was running but he just couldn't run anymore. Did he care about that detail. No. He could barely give a fuck. But Goth's leg finally gave out and he fell to the ground, landing on the leaf covered ground. He left out a loud 'OOF!' when he fell. He groaned as cold bolts of pain shot through his arm bones. It was almost like icey jolts of electricity and adrenaline.
Goth was closer to the light and it was getting slightly closer to him. The sun wasn't going to rise for a while so he thought of an idea. It was dangerous but it was the only way. His legs showed no sigh of engery or getting up anytime soon. Plus, if he got whatever the lights attention was, they could find him first before Palette would. The idea of Palette sent a single shiver of Goth's spin.
Goth yelles out. "HELP!" but his voice was also weak, but he didn't care. He wanted out of this forest as fast as he could. He screamed. "HELP ME!!". He hoped he had gotten the lights attention and he layed his head on his arms and closed his eyes. 'Just lay death apon me..' Goth thought. 'The one time you NEED Reaper..' . Goth let out a chuckle as his consciousness left him and he passed out.
