Today was Maya's 15th birthday. She wasn't doing much though because she wasn't very popular and didn't have many friends. "Maya, get up!" Maya's mom shouted. "Ugh!" Maya responded. Maya then hopped in the shower and was out in 10 min. She put on a dark blue and white striped crop top with a white tank top. She then slipped on her white skinny jeans and navy blue Vans. She got down stairs and her four year old sister Mary, greeted her. "May I made you pancakes!" she said while pulling on her arm. Maya walked into the kitchen and took a few bites out of the pancakes. "Thank you very much Mary." she said with a smile. "Happy birthday May! I love you." Mary said as Maya walked out the door grabbing her bag. Maya walked to the bus stop just as the bus was coming down the road. She boarded the bus and sat in an empty seat toward the middle of the bus. The day went by slowly inching its way towards last period. When Maya got home, she was confused. There was no one in the house and there was no response when she yelled "Hello?!" "Surprise!" everyone yelled as they came out of their hiding places. Her mom stepped forward and handed her a small box. "It's not much, but I hope you like it." Maya's mom said with a smile. Maya opened it quickly and lifted the cover off the top. "VIP TICKETS TO MAGCON!!!!" Maya screamed as loud as she could. "I have to call Mackenzie and tell her!" She ran off with her phone and you could hear the conversation from downstairs.
One Week Later
"Mom come on, come on! We have to hurry!" Maya was yelling at her mom because the taxi was waiting outside. They drove to the airport and boarded the plane. Soon, they arrived in Dallas.
The next day was Magcon day and Maya was hyperventilating all day and continued to until the show started next afternoon. During the shiw Maya stared at Matthew Espinosa. He was funny and adorable. After the show Maya went to go get a picture with the boys and have them sign a shirt. While Maya was hugging Matt, he slipped his phine number in her pocket. He then asked "Would you like to go ti dinner and a movie with me tonight?" Maya stood and shock and then managed to say "y..yes" "Cool! Text me later babe." he said with a wink. This was just the beginning of a perfect relatiinship.
