It was a chilly evening in late September and Me and Matt were going on a date that couldn't be any better. It's the classic picnic in the park. I have to meet Matt in the park at 7:30 and then after we're going swimming. I got ready to go and put on my favorite blue dress with sandals. I didn't do my hair that special and just put on some water-proof mascara cause I remembered we were going swimming. I packed a beach bag with my bathing suit and a change of clothes. I looked at the clock and it said 7:15 so I should probably get going. About 10 minutes later I pulled into the parking lot across the street from the park and I jumped a bit when my door suddenly opened. I stepped out and looked around and of course, there was Matt with a cheeky smile on his face. "Hello Miss Heidi, you look beautiful this evening." Matt said. "You as well, Mr. Espinosa." You responded and you both started laughing. You both walked hand in hand down to where Matt had the most beautiful date set up. There was a pathway of trees that had lights hanging all around them and there were flower petals on the ground below you. As you got to the end of the pathway there was a blanket with lanterns all around it. The tree behind the blanket had "H+M" carved into it. "Matt this is amazing, I can't believe you did all this!" You exclaimed. "Anything for you, Heidi." He responded. You both sat down and Matt said "This isn't your average picnic food, but it's better. Go ahead and open the box." He said. You slowly opened the box and as you saw what was inside you got extremely excited. "Oh my god, pizza?!" You shouted. "You know me SO well!" Matt being the best boyfriend ever packed your favorite food, pizza, along with water bottles, grapes, brownies, and potato chips. It's a strange combination but you didn't really care, as long as you were with Matt.
