Chapter 1 - where it all started

When the virus was leaked out of Yamaho laboratory, nobody was aware of the dire consequences that would take place. The scandal was covered soon after the 'containment' of the virus but what those scientists didn't know is the actual effect the disease had on people. It came in five stages : the first one is contamination, it would starts with occasional coughing and vomiting , the second is fever and black outs , the third is coughing blood and teary eyes , the fourth is open cuts and constant bleeding from all opening of the body and the fifth is death .

Of course the development of the virus and its speed depends on every individual; some would die in one day and rarely would survive for a month. The outbreak happened in 2031 in the city of Taki, it is said that the city is now but a deserted place ideal location for filming a horror movie. A month after, it was created, the virus  spread like wild fire and  all the cities near Taki were contaminated , it was seldom to find any survivors there .

While time passed new scientists were searching for a new drug that could stop the "Form" disease and maybe cure the sick and they did, except it backfired. The humans who took the medicine suffered from severe mutation and since they were almost dead , they transformed into the undead . The Form virus was replaced by what we call the Apocalypse, the Form apocalypse. In 2032, Form was found in all corners of the world, it was transferred through blood a single drop and you would have been finished.

They were very few survivors at the time, including me, I was 4 years old and I still wonder how I was able to survive all this time to 2045. At that time my mother was killed just before they got rid of the infectious virus. How? Simple, mass murder. They killed every mutated human with the Form virus inside them including my mother using some sort of genetically modified  gas that was sprayed all over the world .

During the Form apocalypse, a new species came to life, sadly the cure wasn't able to save many lives but luckily for some people , the cure unleashed another form of mutation , not the one that would turn you into a corpse that runs around like a mad man spreading the virus but the kind that turns you into a super-human , with more strength, speed and heighten senses than other humans , and due to their abilities to transform into wolves and the were-legends , they were called Werewolves.

Soon after in 2035, the cure was perfected, every human from stage 1 to 3 could be saved , the rest were immediately killed . The new species took over , only those who mattered were turned into werewolves , it was some sort of monarchy , the power was divided between a king and two generals . Then there are the consultants , a group of werewolves and humans who would suggest changes that are later debated and possibly approved by the king and the generals . Then there are the guiders they 'supervise' the controlled area, they are often replaced or murdered.

In the non-controlled areas lies us the rest of the human population, we fight for a democratic republic like they old days, but I believe the times have changed and to survive we must join forces with the werewolves. I have been living in the past five years in a camp, well it's not really a camp but more like a large abandoned mansion that we fortified and transformed into a safe haven for the remaining human survivor. I live with a group of 15 people of all ages, genres and races, but it wasn't like that in the start.
